Independent and self-reliant
Jin Weiying, born on August 16, 1904 in Gaoting Town, Daishan, Zhoushan Islands, Zhejiang Province, was not optimistic when she was born, her father was a pauper, and the family relied on her father's meager income to survive.
When she was six years old, in time for the Great Famine, her father lost his job, which made the already difficult family even worse, and under unavoidable circumstances, her father had to send Jin Weiying to his hometown.
After returning to his hometown, in order to relieve the pressure of the family, Jin Weiying followed his mother, uncle and aunt to learn to tie paper flowers and make tin foil on weekdays, and began to learn to share worries for the family at a young age.
During this period, she also gradually realized the importance of learning, and this period lasted for two years, until Jin Weiying was eight years old, and her father took her back.
After going back, Jin Weiying, who experienced various things, had a strong feeling of learning in her heart, and in order to be able to afford school, she sold her furniture and successfully entered Dinghai County Girls' Primary School.

In 1919, in order to support the May Fourth Patriotic Movement, Jin Weiying specially participated in speeches and took to the streets to make propaganda, so that more people could know and participate in it.
In 1925, in response to the Five Thirtieth Movement in Shanghai, Jin Weiying mobilized and organized all teachers and students of girls' schools to respond positively, and united with other surrounding schools to establish a county student union, and led workers, students and others to strike classes and strikes.
In October 1926, Jin Weiying officially joined the Communist Party of China and began his revolutionary life.
After joining the party, Jin Weiying could not suppress the strong patriotic feelings in her heart, even at the risk of being threatened and arrested by the Kuomintang, she still put the party's work first.
Even under the shroud of white terror, she still actively led the women's revolutionary struggle, and led the workers to launch a workers' movement in Dinghai County, Zhoushan City, and then founded the salt people's association and encouraged the salt people to march and protest.
After all kinds of deeds, the local people also specially gave her a title: "Dinghai Female General"

In the spring of 1927, Jin Weiying was elected as an executive member of the Zhoushan Federation of Trade Unions, and during the "412" counter-revolutionary coup, she was unfortunately arrested by the Kuomintang, and later successfully rescued through various levels of organization to rescue her.
After she came out, Jin Weiying was organized to work in Shanghai and worked at the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, during which time she used her status as a primary school teacher as a cover to constantly engage in the workers' movement in secret.
Not only that, in October 1933, after the failure of the fourth encirclement and suppression, Chiang Kai-shek changed his previous tactics, began to mobilize a large number of elite troops, and adopted the idea of step by step, launching the fifth encirclement and suppression, in an attempt to destroy the revolutionary base areas of our army in one fell swoop.
At this critical juncture, in order to be able to smoothly tide over the danger, the party Central Committee appointed Jin Weiying as the head of the organization section and the chief of the Red Expansion Commando Team, whose task was to replenish the source of troops and prepare grain and grass for the organization.
But even so, in order to enable the Party Central Committee to smoothly survive this encirclement and suppression, Jin Weiying began to respond positively, and has been running to the countryside for a long time, doing his best to implement the tasks assigned by the Party Central Committee.
Jin Weiying began to publicize to the broad masses of workers and peasants, patiently explained what the purpose of expanding the Red Army was, and persistently implemented the slogan of expanding the Red Army to every household.

After a month of unremitting efforts, Jin Weiying successfully helped the organization expand 3,200 recruits, more than 1,000 more than the tasks assigned by the organization.
Not only that, in the task of collecting grain, Jin Weiying not only exceeded the task, but also collected more than 10,000 quintals of grain before the Red Army was about to start the Long March, which played a key role in our army's logistical support.
Zhu De, then chairman of the Central Military Commission, also highly praised Jin Weiying and personally awarded her the award flag of 'March Plan and January Exceeded'.
After this experience, on June 8, 1934, the central authorities also specially appointed Jin Weiying as deputy director of the General Mobilization and Armed Forces Department, whose task was to assist and be responsible for the task of expanding the red of the entire Soviet region.
Due to his outstanding work ability and the timely completion of his tasks, Jin Weiying was also elected as a member of the Central Executive Committee in the second Central Committee election.

In 1931, when Gu Shunzhang rebelled, the entire organization was plunged into crisis, and many party figures were purged, and in order to avoid the storm, the party had to arrange for everyone to transfer, and in this transfer, Jin Weiying and Deng Xiaoping were fortunate to meet.
Perhaps it is fate that in order to be able to avoid pursuit, the two have to disguise themselves as a couple and travel together, and the process of transfer is very difficult, not only to risk being recognized at any time, but also to find a way to avoid the enemy as much as possible.
During this period, whether by sea or land, the way the two of them walked and rushed again and again, in order to avoid the eyes and ears of the enemy.
During this period of time, Jin Weiying did not relax because she was a woman, and along the way, her performance can be said to be extremely strong and heroic.
In the face of the enemy's interrogation, she did not panic at all, and never complained about the arduous journey, and the two have been walking together like this, and it is at this time that the two with strong patriotic feelings have rapidly warmed up.
Once, Jin Weiying and Deng Xiaoping chose to travel in the dark in order to avoid danger, and for safety and speed, they did not choose to walk from the main road, but chose to take a faster and less crowded mountain road.

The road of revolution has always been extremely difficult, and Jin Weiying, who had just stabilized, did not have much time to rest, because of the failure of the counter-encirclement and suppression, the Red Army had no choice but to start the Long March.
At this time, as a member of the Central Executive Committee of the Chinese Soviet Republic, Jin Weiying naturally wanted to follow the team together, and it was at this time that Jin Weiying and He Zizhen were fortunate to meet.
The journey of the Long March is extremely hard, and as a woman, her physical fitness is naturally much weaker than that of boys.
At this time, Jin Weiying, in order to reassure everyone, volunteered to take care of women comrades, and she, who had led the women's movement herself, naturally handled these things with ease.
During the long march with the team, Jin Weiying helped the female comrades in the team many times, and constantly encouraged them, whenever they encountered enemy bombing, she would always quickly organize rescue to help the team reduce casualties.

Li Tieying, who was less than two years old at the time, still held Jin Weiying and asked, "Mom, where are you going?" Why don't you take me? ”
Listening to her son's question, Jin Weiying was quite reluctant in her heart, but under the circumstances at that time, she naturally could not take Li Tieying with her, and could only go to the Soviet Union alone.
Before parting, he also specially told Li Tieying that after completing the task, he would immediately come back to accompany him, but what people did not expect was that this time was goodbye.
In 1941, when the war between the Soviet Union and Germany broke out, Germany's wanton bombing affected many cities in the Soviet Union and caused serious casualties.
And the hospital where Jin Weiying was located was also bombed by a shell, and in this bombing, Jin Weiying also died unfortunately, and the year she died was Chinese New Year's Eve seven years old.
