On October 25, an online movie called "I Am a Female SWAT" was launched on Tencent Video. The reason why this film is worth noting is really because the film is starring the dragon girl Mukimia. In Jackie Chan's "Zodiac", Mukimia is remembered by fans for her excellent action scenes. But in later years, Mukimia did not seem to have a good film work. This "I am a female SWAT" can be regarded as one of the representative works of Muqimiya to continue the road of martial arts actresses.
A few days ago, I wrote a film review article criticizing Muqimia's other online movie "Mutants: Ghost Battle Ji", believing that in addition to selling the heroine's long legs, that film lacks the basic attraction as the film itself, whether it is shooting or the story content itself, it is not up to scratch. On the other hand, this time "I am a female SWAT" can give a good review. As another action movie by the dragon girl Mukimia, the quality of the film is far better than "Mutants: Ghost Battle Ji".
First of all, Muqimia's "I Am a Female SWAT" action scene is very smooth, with no dragging content, and no overly obvious fake actions. If fans only watch this film as an action movie, they can also give a relatively good fan reputation. Obviously, in the film, Muqimiya really portrayed herself as an action actress, and there was no ambiguity in the shooting of almost all martial arts action scenes.
In the part of the film where the heroine fights the robbers, it can even let fans see where Muqimia pays tribute to Jackie Chan. Some of the fighting content in "I Am a Female SWAT" has the shadow of Jackie Chan's early police and gangster films, and many of the heroine's fighting actions are even often seen in early Jackie Chan movies. These smooth martial arts pictures, combined with the heroine's gender interpretation, are quite interesting in the aesthetics of female violence.
At the same time, the film also has its own ingenuity, a head-on battle between police and bandits in the closed building space. The story of "I am a female SWAT" is relatively simple, the heroine participated in the jewelry exhibition of her boyfriend group company, and after arriving, she encountered robbers, facing a group of armed tough guy-style robbers, the heroine staged a scene of beating a group. This kind of fight in the closed space of the building is very ingenious in the narrative of the movie.
In this story content, a relatively good three-act narrative rule is also presented, allowing fans to feel the gradual escalation of the fight. In the final story stage of the film, it is a showdown between the heroine Mukimiya and another female villain. Obviously, the film takes the route of female violence aesthetics, and the fight scene between the two beauties can be described as very cool and crisp.
"I Am a Female SWAT" also seems to have a fly in the ointment. The first is that the story itself is slightly flattened. A film that can tell a good story needs to make fans guess the ending. This film clearly can't do that. As soon as the film opens, after the heroine enters the building, fans have already guessed the ending, and under this fight mode, it is obviously inappropriate to light up the ending to fans too early.
The second fly in the ointment is that although the heroine Muqimiya has a fierce fight scene, there is no problem in appearing as an action actress, but in some literary performances, the acting level of this young actress is still unflattering. A truly excellent martial arts actress cannot only add points in action scenes, but also need to stand the test of acting skills in non-action scenes. Muqimia's literary performances are flat and lack a basic sense of mood swings. Especially the performance coordination on facial expressions, this actress did not do it well.
It is worth noting that "I am a female SWAT" has a more exaggerated poster content. This poster amplifies the place where the female part of the film has physical features, giving people the feeling of a rotten online movie. But the film itself is not exaggerated, nor does it over-amplify the picture of women's sensitive body parts. At the same time, in the film, there is still more respect for women, and there is great respect for "female SWAT", and there is no joke about the SWAT industry.
Based on the above, I think that although the poster of "I Am a Female SWAT" is exaggerated, the quality of the film itself can be called medium in online movies. Mu Qimiya appeared as a martial arts actress, and the action scenes can indeed add points to herself, but her performance in literary drama still needs to be strengthened. (Text/Ma Qingyun)
