Another "miracle" in the game related to the three pyramids of Giza is the famous solar ship, which is one of the giant funerary objects of Pharaoh Khufu.
It is said that there were five funerary ships in the pharaoh's time, and two have been excavated so far.
The ship in an empty room located in the southwest corner of the [Temple of Secret Rituals] in the "Desert Book" plot is based on this solar ship.
As in history, this solar ship is also (buried) on the eastern side of the pyramid.
In ancient Egyptian mythology, the sun god rowed from the east to the west of the Tianhe River on this "solar boat", thus completing the alternation of day and night. And the pharaoh is the reincarnation of the sun god, and after the pharaoh's death, the "sun ship" as a funeral object, as a kind of "vehicle", will guide the pharaoh of the underworld to reach the "other shore" safely.
Although the concepts of [Sun] and [Moon] appear many times in the game, the concepts of [Sun] and "Solar Ship" have not yet played a [key] role in the plot.
If the "solar ship" is just a [prop] in the game, I feel that it is too wasteful of this model and a "concept that can be effectively extended".
I personally hope that concepts such as sun, moon and starlight, and the undead underworld can be extended in the subsequent plot.
Outdoors, on the high slope on the southern side of the desert, there is a tall building without a name.
From the (map) icon, it looks like a castle, and when we look closer, we will see that it looks more like a tall tower.
Considering that it was originally close to the river (or the ancient Nile in the Sumeru region), I think of the famous Alexandria Lighthouse in ancient Egypt, or the symbol of the former Library of Alexandria.
This world-famous ancient cultural center was once a symbol of the highest [wisdom] of mankind, which fits exactly with the theme of "Sumi".
Since there is not much that can be considered at present, we can pay attention to whether the content will be completed in subsequent versions.
OK, keep talking.
This stone pillar that can be seen everywhere in the desert is called the "Obelisk".
This is the most distinctive symbol of ancient Egyptian civilization besides the pyramids. Obelisks are usually carved from a single block of granite (artificially), reaching a height of 20 or 30 meters and weighing several hundred tons.
Obelisks often have various "magical" hieroglyphs. Columns (columns)
In fact, such (somewhat bells and whistles) steles usually serve three purposes: religious (to worship the sun god Amon), monumental (to commemorate pharaohs or their exploits), and decorative (similar to vases).
Many of the ancient obelisks in Rome, the Vatican, Paris, New York and London were moved (robbed) from Egypt, which can be regarded as a "passive" cultural export - in fact, it is a bit sad.
The obelisk in the game has a relatively single function, and I hope to further pull (complete) ancient civilizations and ancient gods in the subsequent plot.
