The fake head made by American prisoners 60 years ago to escape from prison! In June 1962, three inmates—Clarence Anglin, John Anglin, and Frank Morris—escaped from the highest prison in the United States, Alcatraz Prison on San Francisco Bay. Late at night on June 11 or early in the morning of June 12, three men stuffed their fake heads into bed and pretended to be asleep. The trio then rushed out of the main prison building through ventilation ducts and unused common corridors and left the island in improvised inflatable rafts. In the years that followed, the trio survived or died, and the FBI and local law enforcement officials pursued hundreds of leads, but there was no conclusive evidence that the escape was a success or failure. In 1979, the FBI, based on circumstantial evidence and the strength of expert opinion, formally concluded that the men drowned in the cold waters of San Francisco Bay before reaching the mainland, but now the Morris and Anglin brothers are still on the wanted list. These prosthetic heads are made of soap, toilet paper, toothpaste and concrete dust.
