Although the Magic lost the game, their player Paulo Banchero played 35 minutes, shooting 11-of-18 from the field and 5-of-7 from the free-throw line, with 27 points, nine rebounds, five assists and two blocks.
Banchero became the fourth player in the NBA to score 20+5+5 in his career debut in the past 30 years. The other three players are: Grant Hill, LeBron James and Michael Carter Williams. He is also the first rookie after James to cut at least 25+5+5 in his debut. This shows Banchero's potential, and the future can be expected.
