FPA direct drive motor

FPA is the abbreviation of New Zealand's national treasure company Wanshepike, which is a well-deserved "century-old enterprise" in the field of home appliances, and has strong technical accumulation in the field of motor manufacturing and motor control. As early as 2015, Haier contributed to the localization of Fisher & Paykel motors (Qingdao). Since then, FPA direct drive motors have become a trump card for Haier home appliances.
Essence wash
Essence washing is a new washing technology that Haier has only recently launched, which claims to save 38% of water, 37% of time, and 15% of wear.
The specific realization principle of essence washing is: first premix the water and detergent during transportation; The mixture is then sprayed evenly on the clothes through high-pressure direct injection, so that the detergent quickly soaks the fabric fibers and is more conducive to foaming.
If the traditional washing procedure is equivalent to taking a shower gel bath, then the essence wash is equivalent to bathing with bath foam, and the effect is much better than the former
It is measured that with the blessing of essence washing, the foaming efficiency is indeed greatly improved, and the washing machine can produce a large amount of foam at the beginning ▲
The shortening of washing time is not only as simple as saving water and electricity, but more importantly, it reduces the friction of clothes during each washing process and slows down the aging of clothes - this is the core meaning of essence washing.
Double spray
Double spray has now become the standard equipment of Haier washing machines. The double spray is realized by two spray holes ▲ located on the upper left side of the inner cylinder with different orientations

Smart delivery

Haier's clothes dryers currently have the following technical advantages:

- 4-layer line chip filtration system.
1:1 full-time forward and reverse
1:1 full-time forward and reverse can be said to be one of the core selling points of Haier clothes dryers. Looking at all the heat pump dryers on the market today, there are only a few with motor forward and reverse, and only one with a reversal ratio and forward rotation of 1:1.
The purpose of the motor forward and reverse is to make the clothes dispersed more evenly and make the dried clothes more fluffy, so as to achieve the purpose of anti-wrinkle and anti-entanglement. The measured motor forward and reverse effect is very obvious ▲
But there is a contradiction here: for conventional clothes dryers, the fan and the inner cylinder that provide circulating hot air inside are driven by the same motor. When the motor is spinning, the inner cylinder is spinning, and the fan is also spinning, which can produce air normally; But if the motor is reversed, the inner cylinder does work normally, but the fan does not come out of the air.
The fan does not produce air, which means that the drying efficiency of the clothes is greatly reduced (hot air has the same effect of dispersing the clothes as forward and reverse) - and this is the reason why the drying efficiency of those machines on the market with 8:1 (forward rotation: reverse) forward and reverse function is inefficient.
To this end, Haier changed the design idea: an independent fan was added inside the dryer to control the fan operation, which completely solved the problem of continuous air supply, and also achieved the ideal forward and reverse ratio of 1:1 - which is also the technical principle of Haier's "dual-engine heat pump".
At first glance, the technical principle is very simple, but to plug in an independent motor and redesign the pipeline without increasing the volume of the dryer is indeed a complex project.
It is under the technical pressure of Haier that BSH Electric Appliances, which has not had the forward and reverse function of the motor, finally introduced this function in 2022 - which also confirms the industry's affirmation of the forward and reverse effect of the motor from the side. However, because its internal design still follows the previous ideas, the forward and reverse ratio is far from the ideal state of 1:1 like Haier's dual-engine heat pumps.
Hybrid electric auxiliary heating
Friends in the north know that in the case of extremely low outdoor temperatures in winter, the heating effect of air conditioning is very poor - this is not a problem with the quality of air conditioning, but the working principle of the compressor, which is not developed here.
The heat pump dryer essentially moves the air compressor system on the air conditioner to the dryer. Therefore, when the room temperature is low, the dryer will also encounter the problems of "slow preheating" and "low drying efficiency". Therefore, the design idea of Haier Hybrid electric auxiliary heating technology is also very simple: in the early stage of the dryer, the machine is preheated with electric auxiliary heating.
So does Hybrid electric auxiliary heating technology have any effect? I have also made actual measurements:

It took less than 9 minutes to raise the temperature above 50°C (53.5°C for the red horizontal dotted line), while it took 44 minutes for the other machine
I also mapped the temperature curve of Haier dryer (stacker) when drying air conditioners such large items: during the entire drying process, the maximum temperature was 61.3 °C, and most of the time it remained below 60 °C, and it was relatively stable, which was basically consistent with Haier's "low-temperature soft drying"
4-layer line chip filtration system
The 4-layer line chip filtration system is another Haier initiative, which aims to completely block the entry of dander into the hot air circulation system by adding a filter (2-layer) structure, so that users can free their hands and save them the trouble of frequently cleaning the condenser (opening in the lower left corner of the clothes dryer).
To be honest, this "no one before, no one after" design is quite radical.
When I was 618 last year, I bought a set of Haier's slim 176 washing and drying set, and I have always maintained a super high frequency of drying once a day. Slim
