When the banshee goes (dry season), such as an earthquake, the earth shakes the mountains, the waterlogged river dries up, and the water does not remain.
In order to relieve the suffering of the people, Di Yao led a group of people to go to the water to eliminate the demon plague. When Yao and his party came to Guo Xing, the banshee had left, there was drought everywhere, people were sleepy, and they couldn't find even a drop of water. Everyone was worried about the lack of water, Yao's mount was a big white horse, raised his head and hissed, with his hooves on a square rock, da, planing three times, the stone splashed everywhere, collapsing a horseshoe-shaped stone pit, the horse lowered its head again, its nose was bubbling and whispering three times, and immediately a stream of clear water came out of the crack in the stone, boom, boom, boom, and for a while it became a clear water spring, and everyone was overjoyed when they saw it, and competed to taste this sweet cool water. This is the origin of the horseshoe spring (a view of Yaoling), and the horseshoe prints on the stones by the spring are still faintly visible.
Di Yao and his party quenched their thirst and were walking forward, when suddenly the black wind blew, flying sand and stones, the sky was dark, the rain was pouring, and the landslide around the mouth of the river valley blocked the waterway. Up Guo Xingkou, the flood was raging, and the village was flooded. Yao immediately organized the local people and his entourage to dig earth and gravel at the mouth of the valley, open a hole, and let the accumulated flood water flow away, saving the people around Guo Xing from a major flood. After the flood water drained, the river rushed and it was inconvenient to travel between the two banks, so Yao decided to build a stone bridge over the river and asked for it to be completed within three days. Everyone had to work day and night, and it was easy to work during the day, but it was really difficult to work in the middle of winter at night, and this matter was known by the deer fairy. That night, when everyone was working and worried about not seeing, suddenly a red cloud floated in the sky, shining red light, illuminating the area around the bridge on the river. When someone looked up, they saw the deer fairy standing in the clouds waving to everyone, it turned out that the deer fairy spread her own Xia Shu to release brilliance and help build the bridge. After that, people found a deer stone on the hill east of the stone bridge, the stone and the shape of the deer are very similar, everyone remembers that the deer fairy was standing there watching the construction of the bridge, everyone fought for three days and three nights, and in the early morning of the fourth day, the stone bridge stood majestically on the Heishui River. Emperor Yao and the crowd cheered the victory. Suddenly, the wind and clouds surged, and it rained heavily, and suddenly the flood rushed, the waves rolled over, and rushed to the new bridge, and the banshee showed a hideous face in the air and mocked. When Yao was helpless, he spit out the golden pill Lingzhu to drive away the banshee, and placed the Lingzhu on the bridge to calm the stone bridge. From then on, no matter how big the flood was, it could not flood and break this stone bridge, but Yao fell ill in bed because he vomited out the spirit beads, which was greatly injured.
The Black Wind Banshee has not been removed, and Di Yao is relieved. On the edge of Guo Xing Village, there is a hill next to the waterlogging river, known as Zhaoduli. In the lower part of the marriage pile, there is a cave, which leads to the foot of Huo Mountain, and the black wind demon drills into this cave. It turns out that this cave is breezy and refreshing, and after the people work, they often come to this cave mouth to rest and cool, and the whole body is refreshing, known as the Qingfeng Cave. Since this hole burrowed into the Black Wind Demon, it has sometimes stirred up trouble and destroyed the village and countryside; From time to time, it turns into a bull's head and horse face, spitting black wind in its mouth, and harming people and animals; Sometimes she turns into a demon girl, takes a deep breath, and sucks people into her stomach. The people in the vicinity, day and night, scattered and fled, the countryside was deserted, and traffic was blocked. The ballad says: "The wind cave becomes a black wind cave, and the goblins in the black wind cave are staying; Gasping for breath, the people and animals were gone. Coolly turned into a man-eating pit, making the road cut off for pedestrians, and the people did not live well. "Di Yao heard the news, and took the disease to discuss with everyone to reduce the demon and eliminate the harm. Yao's mother was very distressed when she saw that her son was suffering from overwork, so she volunteered to send demons and eliminate harm and share her worries for her son. It was the tenth day of the first month of June, and Yao's mother held a peach charm in her hand, stared at the sun, took three deep breaths, turned to the entrance of the cave, sealed the entrance with a divine spell, and waited at the entrance of the cave day and night for three months. Strange to say, the Black Wind Demon never dared to come out and make a strange move. Later, news came from the Huo Mountain area that a black wind rushed out from the mouth of the cave at the foot of Huo Mountain and turned into nothing. Since then, the Batu Cave has resumed its name as the Qingfeng Cave, and the people who escaped have returned to their homes one after another. People torely on the Hong Fu of Di Yao's mother and son, live a peaceful life, Di Yao's mother bid farewell to the people and want to return to Pingyang, men, women and children within a radius of dozens of miles came to kneel on the ground, begging the old man to stay for some days, and everyone also wanted to do their best to repay their hearts. Mother Yao decided to stay for a few days and enjoy the joy with the people. The people happily honored Yao's mother as Yaogu, changed the name of the marriage pile to Gudeli, and built a "Yaogu Temple", every year on the tenth day of the first month of June, the people of all villages in Fangyuan offered animals and dances to commemorate Yao's mother's kindness forever, and Di Yao also rode to watch the songs and dances on schedule, and dismounted and walked five miles away from the temple, and later generations called this village Xiama Zhuang, and the stones tied to the horses were called horse stakes. Yao also patrolled the Dongshan area (present-day Fushan County) and walked five miles away from Yaogu Temple before getting on the horse, and later generations called this stone on the horse's foot as Shangmatai, and the village was called Matai Village.
