Wang Manyu, 23, is ranked third in the world and has won six World Series singles titles, including last year's Women's Singles Championships at the World Table Tennis Championships in Houston. Liu Xinyin, 34, is ranked 71st in the world. The only previous clash between the two was at this year's WTT Singapore Grand Slam, when Wang Manyu won three straight sets.
