Art and architecture seek almost the same goal, and some people seek to find purity in complexity or richness in simplicity. The former starts from the decorative plane and gives the object a higher level of functional significance; The latter follows the functional idea, superimposing a unique humanistic atmosphere for pure objects. In this case, which also belongs to the latter, how to interpret the owner's pure attitude to life with residential elements tests the dust design Li Daxiu's understanding of movement and movement and the planning power of the design structure. The so-called "light ink" is a description of the desire and the embodiment of Zen quiet feng shui, the designer uses unmodified reinforced concrete and polished mortar surface as the cornerstone to create a visual expression with both dynamic and static balance under natural light and shadow. The whole building seems to reflect the simple thinking, not to over-decorate the decoration, then to set off its own elegant style with simplicity and unpretentiousness. Such simplicity and extraordinary, in addition to creating a reduction aesthetic, but also the owner's laid-back attitude towards retirement, also attracted the praise of the Hong Kong Design Awards judges for such architectural implications, and awarded them the Gold Award.

The Hong Kong Design Awards was founded by the global design community BETTER FUTURE, a global independent design promotion organisation that sees itself as a "champion of a better future" with the goal of helping to promote designers and their work to the world and impact society and the environment, all for a better future.

In this building, each floor is planned with cyclical, radial and linear lines, integrating the fluidity and linkage between the individual spatial units. Air flow fields in both vertical and horizontal directions have also been designed, and there is sufficient and comfortable natural airflow in the building. Designers strive to simplify the construction method and simplify the use of materials, and it has a very economical unit price. And these economic behaviors are actually in line with environmental protection benefits, and they have multi-faceted significance. The interior and exterior walls of this building are no longer equipped with excess decorative materials or coatings except for functional needs. In fact, the concept of reducing the amount of materials that are not used or used less has a more positive significance for environmental issues. The components of the building are produced by function, and there are no purely decorative objects.

The active line of this building air flow field is from the bottom to the top, in addition to the phenomenon of hot air rising, mainly in the first floor air intake point to create a positive pressure state of air extrusion, and in the attic exhaust point design to connect the negative pressure environment of the house table to accelerate the air flow. The secondary line of the air flow field is that there are still different inlet and exhaust points on each floor to make the air flow laterally. The first floor is a semi-outdoor space, called "Pavilion Foot" in Taiwan, which is a place to cool off, drink tea, and chat, and it is also a unit in the planning of this building air flow field, where there is a comfortable natural wind, and family or friends are relaxed and unrestrained in this space.
