Wang Xiaohe (1924-1948), a native of Yinxian County, Zhejiang. He joined the Communist Party of China in 1941. In 1943, the party organization arranged to work in the Yangshupu Power Plant. In 1946, he participated in the nine-day and eight-night strike struggle of the workers of the Shanghai Electric Power Company. In 1948, he served as the executive director of the Shanghai Electric Trade Union, the secretary of the party group and other positions, and led the workers to struggle with the factory for many times to safeguard the interests of workers.
In April 1948, Wang Xiaohe was arrested by the Kuomintang authorities and used the prison and court as a battlefield to expose the crimes of the Kuomintang, and on September 30 of the same year, he bravely served at the execution ground of Tilanqiao Prison at the age of 24.
At the time of Wang Xiaohe's sacrifice, the eldest daughter was less than 2 years old, and the younger daughter was not born until 21 days later. Three days before going to the execution ground, he wrote three touching suicide notes for his parents, wife and friends in prison.
