Safran "Dream Spokesperson" - Wei Bin:

Safran Short Cabin Company

Senior Manager of Customer Support

Graduated from Beihang Sino-French Engineer College

The wonder of continuing the "peak" edge is indescribable

I graduated from the Sino-French Engineers College of Beihang and studied at the Central University of Nantes in France for two years. Safran is an important partner of the Sino-French Engineers College of Beihang Airlines, and I was fortunate to receive a scholarship from Safran during my study in France. During my time at the school, I interned at the Quality Center at Safran's headquarters in Le Havre, France, and the customer support team in Beijing. These two internships gave me a keen interest in aviation manufacturing, and I naturally joined Safran after graduation.

Safran's professional life

Since joining Safran, I have been working in customer support. From supporting only one Chinese airline customer at the beginning, to later supporting airline customers in Chinese mainland, South Korea, and Hong Kong. The content of the work involves technical support, business negotiation, contract management and so on. As one of the "Safran Campus Ambassadors", I also participate in some of the interactions between Safran and the university, and have face-to-face interactions with students on campus.

Safran's career platform in TA's eyes

Safran is the world's third largest aerospace company after aircraft manufacturers and is one of the absolute giants in aviation manufacturing. It can be said that Safran provides a good platform for the company's employees. Safran's business units in China are relatively independent and the relationship between colleagues is very harmonious. At the same time, thanks to different business units, there are also many opportunities for internal job transfers within the Group.

During my undergraduate and postgraduate studies, I participated in several management and professional courses initiated and organized by Safran. What made me feel interesting was that I had the opportunity to attend the Safran Open House in 2016 and visit Safran's engine and landing gear plant in Suzhou. After joining the company, because of the needs of the work, when I came to these two factories again, I felt very kind!

Safran's professional life

Since joining Safran, I have held two positions. The first was as an Assistant Project Manager in the Business Development Department of Safran China. As a fresh graduate at that time, I had a specific understanding of the group's organizational structure and main business situation in this position. I currently work in the Engine Test Bench business unit of Safran Aero Boosters as a Junior Sales Manager. My team and I work together to expand our business in China, meet the business needs of our customers, and participate in project communication and bidding.
