"The Dove of Hope" is a television series produced by Taiwan's China Television. Produced by Zhu Zhu, directed by Ju Jueliang, written by Xia Meihua, and starring Zeng Huaqian, Li Zhiqi, Tu Shanni and Chen Yumei.
It premiered on September 12, 1990 on China Television in Taiwan.
The plot tells the story of Taiwanese young man Li Zihan (Li Zhiqi) on the way to Japan to meet Koizumi (Zeng Huaqian), and the two soon fell in love.
However, this relationship was strongly opposed by Li Zihan's father, and in order to break up the two, Li Zihan's father forcibly brought his son back to Taiwan.
