1. Greg Popovich

Team record: 1344 wins

Greg Popovich has coached the Spurs since 1996 and is the longest coach to coach the same team in the four major U.S. professional sports leagues. He led the Spurs to five NBA championships (1999, 2003, 2005, 2007, 2014), and Popovich has no plans to retire. 2. Don Nelson

Wilkens is the first coach in NBA history to achieve 1,000 wins, and he has coached in the NBA for more than 30 years. In 1998, he was again inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame as a coach.

4. Jerry Sloane

Jerry Sloan has coached two teams in his career, the Bulls and the Jazz, first for the Bulls for three years, and then for 23 years, Jerry Sloan dedicated all of them to the Jazz.

5. Pat Riley

Pat Riley has had a brilliant coaching career, having built extraordinary history with the Los Angeles Lakers, New York Knicks and Miami Heat. 6. George Carr

He led the Magic to only 41 wins and 41 losses that season, and although he failed to make it to the playoffs, Rivers managed to be the best head coach of the year. In 2008, Rivers led the newly formed Green Army Big Three to win the NBA championship that year, and since then he has officially joined the ranks of championship coaches.

10. Rick Adelman

Team record: 1042 wins

Individual accolades: Several times winner of the Best Coach of the Month

Adelman has not won a championship or coach of the year in his entire coaching career, but his coaching ability has been proven on the field. His coaching experience during the Rockets period also made him well known to the majority of Chinese fans.
