#Sunbathing my flowers and grasses # There is a kind of flower, which is self-extinct every year, planted for five or six years, all changed, never seen such a strong hybrid flower, it is the cockscomb flower.
The first breed of cockscomb has a rose red flower, and one has not changed for two years. The second breed of cockscomb flowers are pale yellow. In the second year of the same species of the two varieties, hybridization occurred, with red and yellow on one branch, and the color became lighter, keeping the shape of the phoenix tail unchanged. (See Figure 6)
The third breed ushered in the previous year, the real cockscomb flower, big red, dwarf breed, flowering like a big rooster sneaking in the flowers.
This year's cockscomb flowers began to change greatly, two kinds of cockscomb flowers, the lower part is still like a phoenix tail, like a torch, but the top is slowly unfolding, becoming a chicken crown, and it is almost impossible to find the real cockscomb flower. (See Figure 4)
The big red cockscomb flower, turned rose red, and equipped with white lace, although not as colorful as the big red, but more ornamental. (See Figure 1 and Figure 2)
Cockscomb flowers are the most aggressive, yellow and rose red cockscomb flowers all grow on the top of the cockscomb, some grow larger and larger, quite out of the blue than blue appearance. (See Figure 3 and Figure 5)
Look closely, and none of them are the same, nor are they the same as the original species. Having planted a variety of flowers, it was a surprise to see such a strong hybridization and change of flowers for the first time.
