The sun reaches 165 degrees of ecliptic longitude, indicating the end of the Mengqiu season and the beginning of the mid-autumn season. In the early morning, people can see the dew condensed by the water vapor at night on the ground and grass leaves, from which the name "white dew" comes from. After the white dew, the weather turned cooler and the real autumn weather arrived.
The phenology of bailu is: a wait for the hongyan to come, "the sky is high and the clouds are light, and the flying geese in the south are broken" (Mao Zedong's poem). The second bird returned, and the swallow returned to the south to avoid the cold. The three flocks of birds are ashamed, and the flocks of birds feel the cold of autumn and store food and prepare grain for the winter moon.
The flower news of the white dew is: one waiting for the osmanthus flower, the second waiting for the goose to be red, and the third waiting for the chrysanthemum. These three kinds of flowers are all symbols of autumn, both medicinal and ornamental, and are generally liked flowers.
Osmanthus flower, one of the top ten famous flowers in the mainland, has a cultivation history of more than 2,000 years, and the Classic of Mountains and Seas introduces: "There are many laurel trees on the mountain. Qu Yuan's "Nine Songs": "Aid the Beidou Xi Drink Cinnamon Pulp...". As a result, the laurel tree became the Moon Palace and became a fairy tree. Osmanthus wine has become a fairy wine that prolongs life, "Ask Wu Ganghe what he has, Wu Gang held out osmanthus wine." "Mao Zedong poetry" Osmanthus tea has become a longevity immortal tea. White dew festival osmanthus flowers are fragrant, Haoyue is empty, drinking osmanthus wine, drinking a cup of osmanthus tea, not immortals, better than immortals. This is the moment when the literati and inkers of ancient times most longed for and longed for.
The Southern Song Dynasty poet Yang Wanlite liked osmanthus flowers, and also liked to drink osmanthus wine and osmanthus tea with his friends, and he once wrote a poem "Yong Gui":
Not a human species, but moved from the middle of the month.
A little bit of broad cold incense, blowing all over the mountain.
Wild goose comes red, also known as pansy amaranth, leaf chicken crown, old and young and so on. After the White Dew Festival, in late autumn, the red base leaves of the geese turn dark purple, and the top leaves are scarlet, which is very bright. At this time, it was the time when the northern geese flew south, and "the geese came to the red" hence the name.
About the name of the goose, the legend also has a poignant love story.
According to legend, in ancient times, on the edge of the Yellow River, there was a young man named Yanzi and a girl named Hongxiang, and the two were in love and engaged. A local bully, in collusion with the government, sent geese far away to do hard labor, and forced Hongxiang to marry his son. Hongxiang was desperate and crashed into the tree. Later, a grass grew on the head of the red incense and a flower blossomed. After yanzi learned of Hongxiang's unfortunate death, she was devastated and died of long-term grief. His body transformed into a male goose and flew to the red incense grave, and the male goose kissed the flower bud, and the flowers and leaves in front of the grave suddenly turned bright red. Since then, people have called this flower "Goose Lai Hong." This flower is the flower of love, and the flower language is "My heart is burning", which represents fiery love.
Yanlaihong is of great ornamental value and is deeply liked by people. It also has medicinal value, harvested and dried in autumn, it can treat dysentery, vomiting blood, eyes, rhinitis and other diseases.
Wang Zuo of the Qing Dynasty once wrote a poem "Wild Goose Comes Red":
Wild Goose Shadow Empty Order August Day,
A red and purple branch before spring.
Zhu Yanlao is like this,
Miserable Green was a teenager at the time.
The poet anthropomorphizes the description of the goose coming red, figuratively like the goose to the red flower, the young are destroyed by the wind and rain but not tight, and the old age becomes more and more red, and there are people. The older the prettier, the older the more useful. This poem still has a positive motivating effect on today's retired elderly. Therefore, this flower is liked by all the old and young people, and everyone on the earth knows it.
Chrysanthemum, aka Shouke, Huang Hua and so on. It ranks third of the top ten famous flowers in China, and is called the four gentlemen of flowers together with plum, orchid and bamboo. Chrysanthemums are very happy, rich in color, yellow, white, green, ink, red, pink, snow and blue, and there are two-color Mandarin duck chrysanthemums, which are even more precious.
Chrysanthemums are ordinary flowers, people's flowers, inside and outside the courtyard, on the hillside can be planted, can be ornamental, can be used in medicine. It has been cultivated in China for more than 3,000 years. Jin Tao Yuanming still loves chrysanthemums, "Picking chrysanthemums under the eastern fence, leisurely seeing the South Mountain." "(Tao verse) Drinking chrysanthemum tea and wine for a long time can prolong life. Nanyang's yellow white chrysanthemum has a better effect. The history books are contained, and the poems are proof. The great poet su rui of the Song Dynasty has a poem "May Gardener Sacrifices Red Chrysanthemum Two Absolute Sentences":
Nanyang Baiju has a miraculous skill,
There are many old men living on the pond.
The leaves are like thorns,
Not suitable for placing in a wine glass.
The flower language of chrysanthemums is pure and noble, and the integrity it shows is the indomitable spirit of the Chinese nation, so it is favored by people all over the world. Now it is cultivated all over the world, and foreigners like to call it Chinese chrysanthemum.
After the White Dew Festival, the grain is harvested and the fruits are marketed. The harvest season brings healthy food and a lot of interesting customs. However, China's land is vast and rich, which varies from place to place and is different from one place to another. There are also many ancient and modern poems written on the White Dew Festival, which are very beautiful. But my favorite is the famous poem "Moon and Night Remembrance of Brothers":
The drum breaks the pedestrian, and the side autumn a goose sounds.
Dew from tonight white, the moon is the hometown of Ming.
There are brothers scattered, homeless to ask life and death.
The letter was not sent for a long time, but the soldiers were not suspended.
This poem is written about the Bailu Festival during the Anshi Rebellion of the Tang Dynasty. "Dew is white from tonight, the moon is the hometown of Ming", wrote out the voice of all the wanderers who can't be reunited from home, beautiful verses, people are intoxicated, and have become famous sentences throughout the ages. Every time there is a white dew festival, every Mid-Autumn Festival, people can't help but think of these two poems.
The Bailu Festival coincides with the Mid-Autumn Festival, which is a traditional festival of Chinese national reunion. The bright moon that misses home is the relative who misses home. The moon is the same everywhere, but due to feelings, Du Fu always felt that the moon in his hometown was big and round, more amiable, more like his mother's kind eyebrows. Seeing the moon in my hometown is more like seeing a dear and respectable mother!
The first two sentences: "The drum breaks the pedestrians, and the side autumns a goose sounds." "Writing about the bleakness and cruelty of war, heartbreaking, is what the author has seen and heard. The last four sentences are lyrical, and the war scatters the brothers, who do not know whether they are dead or alive; The flames of war cut off all communications, and when will this war stop? From the poem we hear the people's cry for peace and against war!
Poetry Jingyun: "Crabapples are pale, and white dew is frost." The so-called Iraqis are on the water side. Traceable from it, the road is obstructed and long. From there, it is like being in the middle of the water. "The White Dew Festival has arrived, may all of you, the Pearl of White Dew, always be hidden in your hearts."
