In response to Yoon Seok-yue's whistle-blowing, Yoo Fu-nam, co-chairman of the Law Committee of the Common Democratic Party, stressed that as president of South Korea, Yoon Seok-yue enjoys immunity from criminal prosecution. Although it is difficult for the party to prosecute Yin Xiyue in criminal law, it is currently possible to investigate Yin Xiyue from a legal point of view. After Yin Xiyue left office, the party was able to restart the public prosecution against Yin Xiyue.

It is worth noting that within four months of Yin Xiyue's rise to power, the Common Democratic Party could not wait to report him, and there was a reason behind this. First, after Yoon Seok-wook's former opponent for president, Lee Jae-myung, was elected head of the Common Democratic Party on August 28, South Korean prosecutors not only sued Lee Jae-myung's wife, Kim Hye-kyung, for dereliction of duty and violation of South Korea's Election Law, but also summoned Lee Jae-myung for trial on the grounds of spreading false information and violating South Korea's Public Office Election Law.
Regarding Lee Jae-ming's subpoena by the prosecutor, although Yoon Seok-yue recently hinted that the South Korean presidential office did not intervene in the actions of the South Korean prosecutors and did not give relevant instructions. However, given that the incumbents of many important positions in the South Korean prosecutors are close associates of Yoon Seok-yue, it is difficult to rule out Yoon Seok-yue's suspicions in this matter. Therefore, the joint Democratic Party's report on Yin Xiyue is likely to have the purpose of revenge.
Second, there is a culture of liquidation in South Korean politics, which has led to the political struggle between the south Korean parties and the party becoming extremely cruel.
