In 2020, the plant's sintering flue gas desulfurization and denitrification project was put into operation, and the air quality in the factory area was further improved, and the employees planted the grapes at that time.
As a large steel enterprise in Tianjin, Xintiangang Group has more than 220 new energy-saving and environmental protection projects in recent years, with a total investment of 8 billion yuan, and the emission of major pollutant tons of steel has been reduced by 61%. Through the active adjustment of energy structure, the photovoltaic power generation capacity of the plant has reached 45.7MW, and the annual carbon dioxide emission reduction is about 39,000 tons.
