Deng Xiaoping was also very concerned about this, and he changed Wang Jinshan's post from deputy chief of staff of the Nanjing Military Region to an adviser to the military region, and also specifically instructed him to hold a funeral for him with the specifications of the leaders of the large military region.

Because of his emotional difficulties, he lost his military position
In his decades-long career as a horseman, Wang Jinshan made countless contributions and was known in the army as the "Zhukov" of Erye, and Liu Bocheng said that he was "a man who surrendered his life and was afraid of ten thousand men".
Deng Xiaoping also personally inscribed for him "a generation of warriors," and Chairman Mao also praised him with praise, calling him "brave, decisive, courageous, and daring to fight battles that others dare not dare."
Because of this, in the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China, Wang Jinshan held a very high position in the army, successively serving as deputy commander of the Third Corps of the People's Liberation Army, commander of the Eastern Sichuan Military Region, and vice minister of public security.
However, after 1964, Wang Jinshan was dismissed from all positions.
Before his death, he was only the deputy chief of staff of the Nanjing Military Region, which was completely incompatible with his seniority and military achievements, and the root cause of this result had to start from a woman.
This person was Wang Jinshan's original wife, Han Xiuyan.
In 1937, Han Xiuyan was a nurse in the Anti-Japanese Rear Hospital, and during Wang Jinshan's injury and hospitalization, Han Xiuyan took good care of him, and the two also became acquainted.
Wang Jinshan fell in love with the gentle and considerate Han Xiuyan at first sight, and Han Xiuyan also admired the anti-Japanese hero in front of him.
After a period of time together, they soon fell in love, and a year later, they entered the palace of marriage under the witness of the organization.
Wang Jinshan was very fond of Han Xiuyan, and even in the era of war, he always took Han Xiuyan with him.
Han Xiuyan is also obedient to Wang Jinshan, in order to solve her husband's worries and difficulties, she keeps the family in order and never causes trouble for Wang Jinshan.
In this way, the two couples joined hands to usher in the victory of the revolution, but in the era of peace, their feelings were problematic.
In 1953, Han Xiuyan gave birth to Wang Jinshan's fifth child.
However, after looking at his daughter's smiling face, Wang Jinshan said calmly: "Let's give the child to Lao Zhu."
Lao Zhu was a revolutionary veteran, and because of his dexterity, he was promoted by Wang Jinshan to a close driver, and accompanied him for many years.
Especially on the Korean battlefield, Lao Zhu made great achievements, taking Wang Jinshan out of danger many times, but he has never had children.
Therefore, Wang Jinshan promised him: "After returning to China, I will send one of my children to you."
Wang Jinshan had always promised a thousand gold, and after returning to China, he decisively sent Wang Yuanyuan to Lao Zhu's home.
However, this move caused the dissatisfaction of His wife Han Xiuyan, after all, the child is his own flesh and bones, how can he give it away at will?
Of course, Wang Jinshan's decision is also blameless, for the sake of the revolutionary old Zhu Shesheng forgot to die, now he has regrets in his life, how can he sit idly by as a superior?
As a result, this matter became the knot in the hearts of the husband and wife, and they constantly quarreled for the sake of the children.
This went on for a decade, and finally in 1964, they were disheartened and had the idea of divorce.
At that time, the central authorities were very concerned about the life style of cadres, and it was strictly forbidden to abandon their wives.
Han Xiuyan also stabbed the matter to the central government, for which the central government had given two choices, either to withdraw the divorce agreement or to accept the punishment of demotion.
Seeing that his wife had expanded the internal contradictions in the family, Wang Jinshan was even more sad, he insisted on divorce, and also accepted the punishment calmly, and after being relieved of all his duties, he resolutely went to work on the farm in Henan.
It was not until 1969 that Wang Jinshan returned to the army under the appointment of the central authorities and served as deputy chief of staff in the Nanjing Military Region.
However, the good times did not last long, and in 1978, before he could show his fists, he left this world forever.
After the news reached Beijing, Deng Xiaoping was heartbroken, and he immediately said: "Wang Jinshan is a fierce general who has made great contributions to the revolution, his funeral must be handled well, and I want to see the eulogy."

Dare to fight and dare to fight "King Crazy"
Wang Jinshan is a native of Huang'an, Hubei Province, and his childhood was very hard, he herded cattle for landlords, worked as a long-term worker, ate a full meal every day, and had no place in life.
In 1930, the 15-year-old Wang Jinshan could not stand the cruel oppression of the landlords, resolutely threw himself into the revolution, and joined the 10th Division of the Red Fourth Army.
At first, Wang Jinshan was just an ordinary warrior, but he dared to fight and fight, did not fear sacrifice, and soon showed outstanding military talent.
In the battle against the Nationalist army, he often took the lead, and was no less than the veterans who had joined the army for many years.
Because of this, Wang Jinshan, who had just turned 16 years old, was promoted to the commander of the 4th Company of the 10th Division, which was also quite rare in the talented Red Fourth Army.
After that, Wang Jinshan was even more determined to make a name for himself and not to live up to the high expectations of his superiors.
At this time, the Nationalist 12th Division gathered a large army, and Wang Jinshan's unit was caught in the encirclement and blockade of the Nationalist 12th Division.
Because the nationalist army is well equipped and has strong troops, our army has fallen into an extremely passive situation, and if it wants to break through, it must take down the hills on the other side.
However, the enemy army occupies favorable terrain, and it is not easy to "pull out the teeth of the tiger".
Just when Wang Hongkun, the commander of the 30th Regiment of our army, was at a loss, Wang Jinshan suddenly stood up: "Commander, leave this task to me."
However, Wang Hongkun couldn't help but laugh out loud, it turned out that although Wang Jinshan had become famous at a young age, he was still a child in the eyes of his superiors, and he could not bear such a heavy task at all.
However, Wang Jinshan did not flinch, and his expression became more determined: "Commander, I promise to complete the task."
Wang Jinshan's resolute and composed face shocked Wang Hongkun, and then he made an exception to agree to this request and handed over the task of capturing the position to the 4th Company.
In this way, Wang Jinshan carried two large knives on his back, held a Mauser pistol, and shouted in his mouth, "Take the position and complete the commander's order", and then take the lead in charging to the opposite shore.
Under the command of Wang Jinshan, the 4 companies were divided into two routes, one of which engaged the enemy frontally, and the other was interspersed from the rear of the flank.
Unaware of this tactic, the Kuomintang was caught off guard by Wang Jinshan, and the 4th Company successfully boarded the position.
A bloody battle ensued, the two sides ran out of bullets, and began to fight closely, and Wang Jinshan faced a tall and mighty soldier of the Nationalist army.
At that time, he was thin and weak, and he did not look like an opponent at all, and in order to drag the enemy down, he even had the idea of ending up together, and then he wrestled with the nationalist soldiers and rolled off the cliff.
Fortunately, Wang Jinshan was blocked by tree trunks on the hillside and recovered his life, at the same time, the comrades of the 4th Company wiped out the Nationalist army and took the position.
After this battle, Wang Jinshan became famous, and the character of the newborn calf who was not afraid of tigers was constantly circulated, and he also won the title of "Wang Madman".
Make a military order and gnaw down hard bones
In the ensuing war, Wang Jinshan became more and more courageous in the war, and his position was constantly promoted, and after the outbreak of the all-out War of Resistance, he was already on his own, serving as the commander of the 769th Regiment of the 129th Division of the Eighth Route Army.
In the War of Resistance Against Japan, Wang Jinshan gradually showed his thick and thin side.
Once, two female soldiers who had recently joined the army saluted him, and Wang Jinshan ordered the two to be taken down on the spot, and after some interrogation, it was found that the two were agents of the Japanese puppet army.
It turned out that Wang Jinshan had become suspicious when he saw that they were in a tall posture and a standard salute posture, not at all like a recruit who had not received systematic training.
When he saw the calluses at the mouth of the two men's tigers, he was even more determined in his judgment, you know, this is the typical feature of a gunman.
Therefore, Wang Jinshan took this opportunity to rectify the army, and indeed found a large number of hidden Spies of the Japanese puppet army, providing a solid guarantee for the safety of our army.
After this incident, the superiors trusted Wang Jinshan more, and he also got more opportunities.
What really made Wang Jinshan famous and became a founding lieutenant general was his outstanding performance in the Liberation War, and it was during this period that he and Deng Xiaoping formed a deep revolutionary friendship.
In September 1946, Liu Deng's army sent troops to Taihang and was suppressed by nationalist troops in the Longhai area, and the Battle of Dingtao began.
At the critical moment, Deng Xiaoping and Liu Bocheng asked the commanders of the columns whether they would continue to grit their teeth and persevere, or return to the Taihang Mountains.
At this moment, Wang Jinshan slapped the table and said passionately that the 6 columns would never retreat, and even if all of them were killed, they would hold their positions and not betray the trust of the party and the people.
Seeing that Wang Jinshan had made a military order, and the other columns were not far behind, for a time, Liu Deng's army was full of morale, and launched a two-day and two-night battle with the Nationalist army.
Wang Jinshan's style of daring to fight a hard battle played a key role, and under his tight step, the nationalist army gradually showed its decline.
Wang Jinshan took advantage of the heat to strike iron and commanded the 6 columns to launch a siege and annihilation war against the confused Nationalist army.
In the end, the Kuomintang Reorganized 3rd Division was completely annihilated, the division commander Zhao Xitian was captured, and our army won a great victory.
Deng Xiaoping and the love general Wang Jinshan
After this battle, Wang Jinshan left a deep impression on Deng Xiaoping, and Deng Xiaoping also attached more importance to him.
In the Battle of Xiangfan in 1948, Wang Jinshan took the lead and quickly took xiangyang city.
This battle coordinated with the first phase of the Huaihai Campaign to encircle and annihilate Huang Baitao's corps, and became one of the five major victories in the country.
Zhu De called it a "small model battle," while Deng Xiaoping hailed the 6th Column as the "best at attacking tough units."
After the founding of New China, Wang Jinshan was awarded the rank of founding lieutenant general and worked in the Beijing Military Region and the Ministry of Public Security.
During this period, Deng Xiaoping kept in touch with him, and although it was no longer a superior-subordinate relationship, the revolutionary friendship was never interrupted.
During the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, Wang Jinshan served as deputy commander of the 3rd Corps of the Volunteer Army, participated in the Fifth Campaign and the Battle of Shangganling, and was twice awarded the Order of Independence and Freedom of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, First Class.
But as we mentioned earlier, Wang Jinshan was dismissed for family reasons and went to work on a farm in Henan.
During this period, Deng Xiaoping never forgot this beloved general, and in 1968, he entrusted Xiao Yongyin, then chief of staff of the Nanjing Military Region, to send a message urging Wang Jinshan to admit his mistake to the organization in order to resume work.
Therefore, Wang Jinshan wrote a long letter to Chairman Mao, admitting his mistakes, and Chairman Mao was very moved to read it, and in 1969 he was transferred back to the army and served as deputy chief of staff in the Nanjing Military Region.
A few years later, Deng Xiaoping considered the post somewhat condescending, so he personally promoted Wang Jinshan to a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and in 1975 he personally visited Nanjing.
During this trip, Deng Xiaoping had planned to entrust him with a heavy responsibility, but he did not expect that Wang Jinshan would be hospitalized due to illness.
Although Deng Xiaoping has been very concerned since then, even sending a central medical team, Wang Jinshan eventually died in 1978 at the age of 63.
After Wang Jinshan's death, Deng Xiaoping personally oversaw his eulogy and changed the post of deputy chief of staff of the Nanjing Military Region to that of an adviser to the Nanjing Military Region.
Of course, compared to Wang Jinshan's contribution, this position is still a bit too low.
Therefore, before the funeral, Deng Xiaoping broke with the usual practice and instructed Nanjing to send him off with the specifications of the leader of the Great Military Region.
Among them, many senior national leaders also attended Wang Jinshan's funeral.
