In 2020, Lockwood was photographed pretending to fall from the Madison Building in Canary Wharf, London.

It was once forbidden to climb tall buildings

Thrill-seeking Lockwood was barred by the court from climbing tall buildings, but he violated orders and nearly escaped from prison.

In July 2019, Manchester City Council issued a three-year ban on anti-social behaviour to Lockwood, banning him from climbing buildings and cranes outside buses, trams and trains, and entering construction sites in England and Wales.

Earlier, Lockwood said it didn't feel much when hanging, and hanging in the air without safety measures felt surreal, "My brain was blank, my heartbeat wasn't rising, and it felt almost calm." ”

Lockwood once said, "It's something I can do, and 99% of the world's people can't and will never do." I love seeing things from above, I love the challenge of having my body suspended hundreds of meters in the sky, and I love the challenge of diving into safe places to achieve these goals. It's something I keep alive and I don't want to give up. ”

Lockwood wasn't the first to climb the Shard. In 2019, George King-Thompson, then a teenager, climbed up the building and broke the law. He climbed the skyscraper with both hands and almost reached the top of the building in just 45 minutes. After that, he was sentenced to 6 months in prison.
