I am a very ordinary international student, and I have not achieved much, but I also want to share the people and things that make me feel happy in this ordinary study abroad life.

On this vast planet, meeting you is not so much fate as a miracle.

The Korean Wave 10 years ago was so hot that countless Chinese youth shouted crazy for Korean dramas, Korean stars, Korean songs, and Korean variety shows. At that time, if you said that you liked Korean music and stars, you would definitely get the approval of many young people around you. Born in 1997, like most young people of that era, I was unable to resist the temptation of the Hallyu wave and was "rolled" out of the country.

In 2016, after graduating from the college entrance examination, I decided to study directly in South Korea under the influence of the Hallyu. My parents loved me very much, always respected my decisions, and were fully supportive of anything I would do. When I learned that I was going to study in Korea, my parents helped me contact the school, submit materials, and apply for a passport, so I began my own study abroad trip.

When I first arrived in Korea, my Korean language was not very good, and I did not dare to communicate with the local Koreans. A little older sister took the initiative to talk to me, which deeply touched me. Although it is a very small thing, it has been able to touch the softest part of my heart for many years. In Korea, I developed a deep friendship with another Chinese sister who came to study abroad. Her name is Xinzhu, and we met through mutual friends. She was very nice to me and very accommodating to me. I can't say why, but when I asked who I was most grateful to in Korea, I thought of her. The Green Paper says that we are friends not because of fate, but because we are supposed to be friends. In life, we will meet many people, some people can't get close no matter how long they know each other, and even if they say a word, they feel down, and some people are the same at first sight, and they know each other and hate late.

In this fast-food era, many people are floating and sinking in the unbridled feelings, love is also chaotic, hate is also a mess. Luckily, I waited for the person who was willing to cross thousands of mountains and rivers for me and make me believe in love.

He and I met on Weibo, when I was an undergraduate in South Korea and he was in Singapore. After adding WeChat, we slowly matured and began online dating. One Christmas, in order to let my parents know who I was in love with, he reassured my parents and deliberately returned from Singapore. I also took the initiative to confess that I was in love with my parents, and took him home the day after meeting him. In this way, we officially confirmed the relationship. At this time, he was about to finish his undergraduate studies and go to Australia, so he went to South Korea for me. When he first went to Korea, he didn't know a word of Korean, and he studied at a language school for two years before continuing his undergraduate studies. Now I'm already in a master's degree, and he's still doing his undergraduate studies.

The boyfriend's character is very good, which often makes me feel lucky. In the ordinary life of South Korea, he will also give me a lot of touch, such as once there was a heavy rainstorm, he came to pick me up at school, the umbrella was scraped away, and he was also going to come when he was soaking wet. Usually we rarely quarrel, and when I do it, he will tolerate me. When the temper came, he couldn't help but beat him, so he didn't say anything to let me beat him, and then enlightened me when my anger subsided. Now we have been together for more than 4 years, this year my body has a little problem, he slowly accompanied me, and now the condition is much more stable.

The most precious quality of good love is bravery. Whoever I like, I like, I love who I want to be with, this is not called bravery, nor courage. True bravery is the ability to resist temptation and love someone consistently.

Raising a dog is like bringing up a small child, and it will be a child for the rest of its life. It will not deceive you, will not grow up independent like a child, and will always accompany you.

In 2019, the boyfriend returned to China to apply for a visa. My friend and I went to the pet store and took a lot of pictures of puppies for the boyfriend to choose. He chose a 2-month Marzise, and we spent 700,000 won to bring the puppy home and named it Cub.

The puppy is very well-behaved, never demolished the house, and now it weighs 5 pounds. We moved once as the puppy grew up, from Mokpo to Seoul. Renting with pets has some restrictions, and there is a cleaning fee when moving out, and we paid a cleaning fee of 300,000 won last time. South Korea is quite friendly to small animals, as long as you put the puppy in your pocket, you can get on the subway. Now I live in the re-examination building, the puppy will run to the designated place downstairs to go to the toilet, these are all its own teachers. Don't look at its small size, but its small head contains great wisdom. I remember one year when I was homesick, crying alone at home, and the cubs were quietly lying on my head looking at me. It's like a child to me, and I'm especially worried when it catches a cold, listlessly sneezes.

In my six years in Korea, I also developed feelings for this country, and it was like my second home. I really like to eat the grilled meat, turkey noodles, hot pot... We had a small restaurant that we frequented and the owner remembered our faces. I used to like to play games, but now I've developed a new hobby – drawing. Every stroke of acrylic paint on the drawing board is my best wishes for myself.
