Picking up garbage, feeding seagulls, and doing two good deeds is not difficult

Every year on March 5, Chairman Mao Zedong, the founder of the People's Republic, called on the whole people to "learn from Comrade Lei Feng." On this day, the young members of the league have gone to the streets and alleys to set up stalls to do good deeds, some have the obligation to see a doctor, some have free haircuts, some volunteer to repair cars, some clean and sanitary... After joining the work, my colleagues and I did many similar good things on "Lei Feng Day".

March 5 of this year was the first "Lei Feng Day" that I was transferred to the new unit to work. My colleagues and I agreed to go to the Caohai Levee on the shore of Dianchi Lake to do two meaningful good things, one is to be a city "cleaner" - to pick up garbage; The second is to be a bird "feeder" - feeding seagulls.

At 10 a.m., my colleagues and I gathered at the Caohai Embankment, formed a team, took a group photo, distributed garbage bags and chopsticks, and then went to pick up garbage in groups of three or five. Spring in Kunming is often windy, and there are three or four levels in the urban area and five or six levels in the Dianchi Lake. Maybe the cleaners are too clean, maybe it's the improvement of people's environmental awareness, or maybe the spring breeze is enthusiastically helping, the garbage on the embankment is very little, the bright places are basically absent, and the dark places are difficult to find, which makes people a little depressed. Whoever picks up the garbage is immediately overflowing with ecstasy. After an hour of searching, I still found very little garbage.

Feeding seagulls is much easier than picking up trash. As long as you have gull food in your hand, the seagulls will naturally fly to your side, barking and pecking happily. The gulls laugh and laugh. The only thing that disturbs people is that the seagulls are happy to eat, and they can't help but drop the "missiles" to leave people with amorous memorials. In March, as the temperature in Kunming gets warmer, the elves have to travel a long way to Siberia, 3,000 kilometers away. My colleagues and I fed the gulls this time, which is also a refueling for their upcoming journey, and I hope that they will all return smoothly.

Chairman Mao Zedong once said: It is not difficult for a person to do a good deed, but it is difficult to do a good deed for a lifetime. Now I would like to say: it is not difficult for a person to do two good things a day, but it is difficult to do two good things every day.

Learn from Comrade Lei Feng! Live to learn! Do good deeds to old age!
