In 2019, a new generation of 5G technology was introduced and successfully tested in Uzbekistan, and three Uzbekistan operators have completed commercial pilots of 5G networks. Huawei's 5G equipment has won the favor of customers for its excellent performance. Nabieva, head of the public relations department of Huawei's Uzbekistan representative office, said that the communication network solutions we provide to customers in remote areas have contributed to the popularization of communication networks in Uzbekistan with low-cost and high-quality services.
It is reported that within the framework of the joint construction of the "Belt and Road" cooperation, the Export-Import Bank of China has provided a preferential loan of 150 million US dollars to Uzbekistan, mainly for upgrading the country's communication equipment and expanding the mobile operator service network. In August 2021, with the active support of many parties, the financing agreement was finally signed and came into effect. In recent years, the Ukrainian government has put forward a digital development strategy, promoted the digital reform of the government and public utilities, and increased the proportion of information, communication and network technology in economic development. According to Chen Jiakai, Huawei actively participates in the construction of its national data center in Uzbekistan and builds its "digital brain" for the digital transformation of the Ukrainian government. The construction of the data center will be completed in September 2022, when the leaders of the Ukrainian government will attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

It is reported that Huawei has participated in the project of building a new 100 MW photovoltaic power plant in Navoy, Ukraine, and has launched green energy pilot cooperation projects with many universities and enterprises in various fields in Uzbekistan.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Huawei actively cooperated with the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan to provide thermal imaging cameras and video conferencing systems for Tashkent Airport, assist hospitals in deploying telemedicine equipment, and achieve rapid connections with Chinese doctors.
Education and environmental protection bring temperature to science and technology
In the course of 23 years of operation in Uzbekistan, Huawei has always attached importance to the cultivation of talents. This includes not only the training of the company's employees, but also the upskilling of mobile operator employees, young talents in the Internet industry and the field of information and communication.
Nabieva said: "Huawei holds a global education program 'Seeds for the Future' every year. This year marks the eighth time the project has been held in Uzbekistan. In the past seven years, 50 Uzbek students have gone to China for internships through the program. Due to the pandemic, the project was forced to take place online, which also provided training opportunities for more students. Over the past two years, 54 students from various regions of Uzbekistan have been trained at the Ukrainian representative office and participated in online courses at Huawei's headquarters. ”
In addition, based on the concept of providing qualified education for all, Huawei has provided distance learning equipment for three schools in Uzbekistan and set up scholarships to support students to learn Chinese, providing them with broad employment opportunities.
According to Nabieva, Huawei actively uses its technological advantages to participate in environmental protection and climate change in Uzbekistan, and in 2020, Huawei launched the "Green Uzbekistan" initiative in Uzbekistan and joined the "Green Aral Sea" project of the Environmental Development Agency of Uzbekistan. In the three years of cooperation, Huawei has provided the cost of planting 40,000 shuttle trees in the Aral Sea region.
At the same time, in 2021, Huawei and the Tashkent University of Water Conservancy and Agricultural Machinery Engineering in Uzbekistan jointly realized a "smart" agricultural project based on 5G applications. The project uses 5G technology to make a positive demonstration to improve production efficiency and reduce resource consumption. Nabieva has been working for Huawei's representative office in Uzbekistan for 16 years, and this is her first job. She said that for more than a decade, huawei has brought her the biggest feeling that there are dreams here, and there are a group of people who are willing to fight for their dreams.
