On August 31, the China-Colombia Entrepreneurs Council meeting, co-sponsored by the China Chamber of International Commerce and the Colombia-China Chamber of Commerce for Investment and Trade, was held online. Sun Xiao, Secretary-General of the China Chamber of International Commerce, Carlos Londelos, President of the Colombian-China Chamber of Commerce for Investment and Trade, José Francisco Diaz, Chargé d'affaires of the Colombian Embassy in China, and Dong Wei, Counsellor for Business of the Chinese Embassy in Colombia, attended the meeting and delivered speeches.

Sun Xiao said that since its establishment in 2017, the China-Colombia Entrepreneur Council has maintained friendly and cooperative relations with a number of Colombian trade promotion institutions and business associations, including the Colombian-China Chamber of Commerce for Investment and Trade, and is jointly committed to helping Chinese and Colombian enterprises grasp business opportunities, dock projects and expand their businesses through information exchange and holding exhibition forums. In the future, the China Chamber of International Commerce is willing to work with the Colombian-China Investment and Trade Chamber of Commerce to continue to play a good role as a bridge and link, and to match and serve the cooperation between enterprises of the two countries.

More than 100 representatives of the Chinese and Colombian business circles from infrastructure, agriculture, trade, tourism and other fields attended the meeting online.
