Calligrapher and painter Wang Xinde | "Practicing Chinese Calligraphy, Inheriting Traditional Culture" to welcome the Mid-Autumn Festival works micro-exhibition

Wang Xinde, (pen name Wang Yiqi, originally from Wulian, Shandong). Jilin Baishan people. He was awarded the title of Pacesetter for the Disabled in Baishan City. Since childhood, due to polio, the muscles of both arms have atrophied, and he is unable to lift the grasp, although there is none. I have been practicing calligraphy and painting with my mouth and pencil for nearly forty years.

He is a member of the Baishan Calligraphers Association and the Artists Association. He is a member of the Beijing Disabled Calligraphy and Painting Association. He is a member of the Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Association. He is a member of the Beijing Branch of the China List Calligraphers Association and the vice president of the Calligraphy Committee for the Disabled. He is a member of the China National Classic Calligraphy and Painting Institute and the China Contemporary Artists Association. One of the seven sons of China without arms.

In 2019, he was rated as an excellent inheritor in the Fifth China Traditional Culture Inheritance and Development Summit Forum. Calligraphy and painting works are collected by many people at home and abroad.

In 2001, his calligraphy and painting works were specially invited to be exhibited at the National Award-winning Artists Exposition.

In 2003, the national calligraphy and painting works commemorating the 110th anniversary of Chairman Mao's birth were collected by chairman Mao's memorial hall.

In 2004, the painting "Fish Shou Tu" was included in the "Collection of Hundred Years of General He Shou" and was collected by patriotic general Feng Lida in the same year.

The painting "Endless Life" was included in the "Dictionary of Contemporary Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Masters". In May, his calligraphy and painting works were collected by Lin Moyu. In November, the calligraphy and painting works participated in the second logistics system calligraphy and painting exhibition and won the award, and in the same year, the calligraphy and painting works were collected by the former president of Xinhua News Agency.

In the first exhibition of art works for the disabled in 2006, the painting "Auspicious Ruyi" was collected. In the same year, the calligraphy works were collected by the Red Army Long March Tashi Stele Forest.

In 2007, the painting was collected by Li Ziqi, the former secretary of the Gansu Provincial Party Committee.

In 2011, he participated in the second national oral foot calligraphy and painting exhibition. Beijing Television broadcast a special report.

In 2012, his paintings and calligraphy works were exhibited in the Liaocheng Canal Museum and collected.

In October 2015, he won the gold medal of calligraphy and painting in the Chinese Grand Prix of the Global Chinese Poetry and Painting Exhibition. In November, he won the China-ASEAN Outstanding Artist Award. In December, he participated in the first national exhibition of traditional calligraphy and painting for the disabled and healthy.

In 2018, the calligraphy and painting works were included in the large-scale documentary collection of stamp albums known as the national business card: "Sailing a New Era - Celebrating the 40th Anniversary of Reform and Opening Up". The painting ink bamboo is collected by Seoul National University in South Korea.

In 2019, the Beijing Association for the Promotion of Charity for the Disabled specially awarded the honorary title of Love Messenger. The painting "Bamboo is Beneficial to Cong Yimao, Cong Ze Bamboo is Not Alone" was awarded the gold medal by the Chinese Traditional Culture Promotion Association.

In 2021, the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China was celebrated, and he was awarded the honorary title of People's Artist of Virtue and Art.
