At 9 o'clock on August 26, three Chinese law enforcement boats participating in the 120th China-Laos-Myanmar-Thailand-Mekong Joint Patrol Law Enforcement Operation successfully returned to dock at Guanlei Port in China, marking the successful completion of the joint patrol law enforcement operation.

The law enforcement agencies of the four countries dispatched a total of 5 law enforcement boats, which lasted 4 days and 3 nights, with a total voyage of more than 600 kilometers. During this period, the joint patrol law enforcement formation formulated meticulous epidemic prevention and control measures, adopted a non-contact approach, combined water and land to carry out joint patrol law enforcement operations, safely and smoothly completed the rotation of the Chinese duty detachment at the Pan Xiangguo contact point in Laos, and during the operation, law enforcement boats and law enforcement team members from various countries had zero contact.

In this operation, the four countries of China, Laos, Myanmar and Thailand also reached a consensus in accordance with the "Jing Gun" operation in the Lancang-Mekong region, and the law enforcement departments of various countries have intensified their crackdown on various types of illegal crimes in the river basin. Since August, the law enforcement departments of China, Laos, Myanmar and Thailand have cracked 33 drug cases in the Mekong River Basin and seized 6.75 tons of various drugs, effectively cracking down on drug crimes in the river basin and forming a strong deterrent to gun-related and explosive crimes in the basin. After the conclusion of this joint patrol and law enforcement operation, China, Laos and Myanmar will also carry out segmented patrols and law enforcement in the Lancang River, the Mekong River, Laos Muang Mo, Ban Xiangguo and the "Golden Triangle" and other waters, severely crack down on all kinds of criminal activities focusing on drugs, guns and explosives, and continue to maintain the security and stability of the river basin.
