According to Cambodian media sources, on August 24, when the candidates for miss Wan Guo from Ba Yu in Svay Rieng Province and Po Bai in Bu Di Mian Zhi Province participated in a beauty pageant competition at a hotel in Phnom Penh, they were strongly condemned by a large number of netizens because of their outrageous dress and the use of playing cards and dice as props.
At the beauty pageant, the "National Costume Show" of Miss Poppet International candidate Yi Sreypov and Miss Bavar Miss Wanguo candidate Zun Sreyley actually put on a suspected casino uniform and displayed playing cards and dice at the same time, which seriously affected Cambodian culture and art and caused dissatisfaction among many people.
Some netizens questioned, why design this kind of clothing? Could it be casino sponsored?
