In 1944, the Japanese army's plan to quickly capture China collapsed, and it was suppressed by the Us army in the Pacific, in order to open up a new battlefield, the Japanese army set its sights on British India. Due to his previous "great achievements" in Singapore, Mutaguchi was also sent to the Imphal region of India.
With pride, Mutaguchi ordered 100,000 troops to march to India.
According to Mutiankou's plan, he prepared to invade India from Burma and capture Imphal. In this way, the Japanese army must first cross the Chintun River in northwestern Burma, and then cross the Naga Mountains on the border between India and Burma.

While the Japanese army died in large numbers due to disease and starvation, Mutaguchi Ryoya's life was very moist, and he "left work" at 5 p.m. every day to drink and have fun with geisha.
