Boyang is a township in Tianshui, right between the winding mountains of the Wei River.
Lao Tzu, the ancestor of Taoism, is one word Boyang, but he does not know what it has to do with our Boyang.
Legend has it that "Taishang Laojun" once passed by Boyang on his westward journey, and it is still unclear where he arrived. Although Lao Tzu was not a Native of Boyang, Boyang was the hometown of Yin Xi, a witness to the Tao Te Ching.
Legend has it that when Yin Xi was the Hangu Pass Order, he saw that there was purple qi in the east, and knew that a saint was coming. Soon Lao Tzu drove a green cow slab car to Hangu Pass, greeted him at the official house, and went north to teach him. On the 100th day of his life, Yin Xi resigned from the government with illness, welcomed Lao Tzu back to the building to view the main house, fasted and asked, and asked Lao Tzu to write a book to benefit future generations. So Lao Tzu wrote five thousand words of morality to teach it, and Lao Tzu went away, not knowing the end. After that, Yin Xinai renounced personnel affairs and followed the teachings of Lao Tzu. After three years of refining, I have perfected it. He is the author of the nine chapters of "Guan Yinzi", which gives full play to the Second Classic of Morality.
According to the "Anthology of Ying Xuan " and the Book of Man Gongyan "There is the Pavilion of Boyang in the west and the hope of the wilderness in the north." Li Shan, a famous scholar of the Tang Dynasty, commented: "Boyang, that is, LaoZiye." ”
Boyang built the Taoist temples of Lao Tzu and Yin Xi as early as the Yuan Dynasty, and the existing Berlin Temple has a pulpit, just behind the village of Xinren on the north bank of the Wei River on a low earthen hill. More than a dozen miles further down the mountain, there is also a simple Yin Dao Temple, said to be "Yin Xi Hometown". I heard that in front of the temple there is a Yang Lian: "The nine chapters of the Hua chapter are into a hundred sons, and the scriptures are five thousand recitations of morality." In just 14 words, it summarizes the achievements of Yin Xi and his thoughts.
In the 1970s, the five communes of East Road in Tianshui County were said to be Boyang, Yuanlong, Wuzhuo, Liyuan and Dongcha. These communes, now towns, are lined up along the Wei River and the Longhai Railway, and are connected by densely packed villages. The easternmost fork of the east borders the Baoji region of Shaanxi, and Boyang in the west connects with the industrial town of Shetang in the Tianshui region. Shetang is inseparable from the seat of the county government, Beidaobu, and is within a 10-kilometer industrial circle; Because of the introduction of a number of factories in the third-line construction, it has become a remarkable "street town".
My hometown of Yuanlong and Boyang are nestled next to each other, but I don't know much about this place with a long history. When I was a child, I heard that Boyang, my mother, they were all called Boyang District; I still haven't figured out the origin of it, but I know that there is an aunt's family in this place.
Boyang is at the west end of Yuanlong, known as the stone gate of Tianshui "Little Yellow Mountain", just in the south mountain of Boyang. I have been to Shimen three times, the first time I walked, the second time I rode, I entered the mountain from the south of Yuanlong, rubbed the village of Boyang, and wrote about the past of my youth. The third time to take the highway to Tianshui, and then from Maijicheng District to Shimen, you can drive the car to the bottom of the mountain. The intersection of the mountain is in the south of Boyang and Yuanlong Nanshan.
That day I tasted buckwheat cold powder made by Boyang people in Shimen Mountain, and I was infinitely nostalgic and had a sudden whim. There are beautiful stone gates in the south of Boyang, and there are legends of Taoist historical figures in the central hinterland and even on the north mountain, which is a treasure land. Stretching out your arms to the edge, in the mountains seven or eight kilometers southwest of Boyang, is the famous Maijishan Grottoes. Caoshi Village, which is located in the Boyang Mountains, has long been a model of Ben Xiaokang.
When he was young, he always felt that his hometown lacked stories, and he respected the few Taoist holy places. Later, after reading the Tao Te Ching and learning about some fragmentary records, I learned about the legends of Boyang and Yin Xi, including Laozi, and only then did I find the thickness of the history and culture of my hometown.
It can be said that Boyang is a place that has been neglected by modern culture, especially political and economic development.
The center of the five townships on East Road is in Yuanlong, and the tianshui County No. 5 Middle School (Yuanlong Middle School) in the early years was the only complete middle school in the five townships. In his six years of middle school, he has come into contact with dozens of classmates from Boyang. The deepest impression is that Boyang people will do business, set up stalls in front of their homes every two days, and rush to the market in Yuanlong on a single day, rain or shine.
There is also a cultural station in Boyang, which is very enviable. Many of the students from Boyang can borrow books there to read, and teachers with rich knowledge of literature and history can consult at any time.
One weekend in the spring of 1988, I went to Boyang. That time, I went to Boyang to attend the wedding of a junior high school female classmate. We took a train from the Tianshui Railway Station, where the Eighth Middle School of the city is studying, to the east for more than ten kilometers, which is also two stops. Get off the bus and cross the Wei River through the suspension bridge, all the way to the largest village under the Boyang South Mountain, Hutou, before and after not really going to Boyang. Although the Yuanlong from Tianshui must pass through Boyang, most of them are passing by.
In the early years, the Wei river valley was not accessible by road, and the boyang station where the train passed, the platform was on the east side of Nanjiaji Village. There is a deep-water well on the station, and next to the well is the brick wall warehouse of the grain management office. Later, I had a shuttle bus and passed by Boyang again, just walking on the 310 National Highway at the mouth of Boyang Village. This village is the seat of the township government and has a junior high school full of talents.
For nearly twenty years, we have a good mouth song in that area. "Yuanlong peppercorn Boyang's peach, boiled specialty is really good." The word "boiling" is the pronunciation of the Tianshui East Road dialect - ao, in fact, there is a little difference from the phonetic alphabet of Mandarin, and the pronunciation is heavier, which is the meaning of "we". Legend has it that during the Three Kingdoms period, Cao Wei's military village was stationed on the north bank of the Wei River, and the Shu Han's barracks were stationed south of the Wei River. People pointed to the two flags that had been fighting endlessly for many years, saying that this side was Liu (Bei's) and that's Cao's (Cao)'s. Over the years, Liu has been described as "niu", and Cao as "boiling (ao)". The "niu" and "ao" are yours and ours.
Wandering for more than thirty years, no matter where you go, as long as you hear "niu(niu)' and "boiling (ao)", it is an intoxicating rural sound. As long as you see Boyang, even if it is a WeChat picture, the familiar scene is in front of you, and you have a kind smile.
In October 1998, he walked to Gangnam for the first time. One day in the purple sand pot market in Wuxi, I suddenly heard someone around me asking for a price in a familiar rural tone. Turning around and looking closely, it turned out to be a high school classmate who had not been seen for ten years. He is the sharp tip of the person who came out of Boyang Village in Boyang Town; Working in his hometown all year round, his mouth is "niu" and "boiling (ao)".
"Niu's"? "Boiling (ao)". The ancient Boyang is "niu' (niu)'s" and "boiled(ao)'" It is the details of the Chinese nation and our common hometown.
When you return to your hometown one day, you should go to Boyang for a walk. Go to see the firewood and grass cooking smoke in the past of your classmates, and then experience the history and culture of Taoism; For the place where the peach blossoms bloom, there is more deep admiration.
