Nanshi students investigated the Xundian Industrial Park and explored the digital road of beef cattle brands
E-commerce helps farmers take a small step, and get rid of poverty and become rich in a big step. On August 10, 2022, the summer practice research team of Jinling Women's College of Nanjing Normal University "Inserting Wings of Digital Economy for Rural Revitalization" went to Xundian County Industrial Park in Yunnan Province to conduct field research activities.
First of all, the team members came to the Xundian County E-commerce Industrial Park and learned that the e-commerce zone has improved the policy system and institutional system for the development of e-commerce, cultivated regional e-commerce industry organizations and service enterprises, targeted the focus of e-commerce poverty alleviation, and enhanced the effectiveness of e-commerce poverty alleviation work.
Among them, the public service center has settled 42 e-commerce enterprises, forming functional areas such as agricultural tourism special product exhibition and sales area, e-commerce service area, training center, enterprise office area, co-working space, roadshow live broadcast area, photography art area and cultural and creative area.

Immediately afterwards, the team members came to the Xundian beef cattle production base to learn.
Xundian has 2.878 million mu of natural grassland and 188,000 mu of artificial grassland, which is a national-level livestock county and a key base county for cattle and sheep, and has a unique advantage in the development of animal husbandry. At present, the number of beef cattle in Xundian is in the forefront of the province, and the beef cattle industry has become an important pillar industry in the county.
On the basis of both natural and industrial conditions, Xundian County, as the first batch of "one county and one industry" demonstration counties in the province, has always adhered to the idea of "strengthening the foundation, innovating the carrier, creating characteristics, and expanding the influence". In accordance with the "one big, two new" development model of "big industry, new subject, new platform", we will make every effort to promote the construction of key agricultural industry projects, build a "one heart, one belt and multiple bases" beef cattle industry development pattern, further expand industrial clusters, promote beef cattle industry production and quality, and strive to create a world-class "green food brand".
Finally, the team members came to the Xundian greenhouse breeding base, the greenhouse has a high utilization rate of light energy, strong wintering ability, and reduced crop diseases and insect pests. Through grafting, the root system of crops is developed, the skeleton of the greenhouse is skeleton, and the yield is doubled, which greatly enriches the vegetable baskets of urban residents and at the same time drums up the money bags of vegetable farmers.

At the same time, the team members also learned that in recent years, the Xundian government has actively guided the vegetable farmers, the scientific and technological level of vegetable farmers has been continuously improved, and the vegetable production of Xundian is gradually moving towards the world. Through the strict requirements of production technology and the strict control of chemical fertilizers, the quality of vegetable products in Xundian has made great progress.
In this research practice, the team members have a deeper understanding of industrial digitalization, and at the same time have a practical understanding of the practical dilemma of agricultural transformation and upgrading by relying on digital technology. Xundian County Industrial Park is a successful example and the result of keeping pace with the times.
