The average Iranian household expenditure last year was 530 million riyals
According to iran's National Statistical Center, in 1400 AH (March 2021 to March 2022), the average household expenditure in Iran reached 530 million rials (about $1767 at the exchange rate of 1 US dollar to 300,000 rials). During the same period, the average annual expenditure of urban households was 930 million riyals, an increase of 49% over the previous year, food and tobacco expenditure accounted for 27% of total expenditure, and expenditure on housing, fuel and water and electricity accounted for 49%. The average annual income of urban households was 1.12 billion riyals, an increase of 51% over the previous year, with 32.6% of income coming from wages and salaries, 16.5% from agriculture and freelance work, and 50.9% from other miscellaneous income. Rural households spend an average of 520 million riyals a year, an increase of 52.4 per cent over the previous year, food and tobacco spend 40 per cent and housing, fuel and water and electricity related to 31 per cent. The average annual income of rural households was 640 million riyals, an increase of 51.5% over the previous year, 33.9% of income came from salary and remuneration, 31.2% from agriculture and freelance work, and 35% from other miscellaneous income. #中伊贸易网 #
