Unforgettable agave
More than twenty years ago, in the early summer, I bought more than ten pots of different varieties of flowers and put them on the balcony to green the family living environment and add some fun to the dull days.
In their spare time, they go to the balcony to admire the red flowers and green leaves, and the flowers surrounded by green leaves are pleasing to the eye and happy.
In the middle of summer, I went on a business trip to the provinces for more than ten days. After returning home, I went to the balcony to look at the flowers and grasses, only to see more than a dozen pots of soil cracked plants withered yellow branches and leaves, a desert, and suddenly felt depressed. Suddenly found a dead leaf in a few green leaves, that leaf is obviously seriously dehydrated, the leaf surface is covered with dry and shrunken stripes, such a dry and hot and water-dehydrating environment, it is actually strong to live, this tenacious vitality shocked me! It's that agave.
After that, I carefully watered the agave, and I was in no mood to add other flowers, and the agave became the only one.
When a friend came to visit, I introduced the agave and told the friend that the agave could adapt to any harsh environment, and like me, it was hard-working and tenacious, and the agave was the symbol of my life. My friend said: Then if you cut off your life, you will be gone? I didn't know how to answer, so I had to laugh.
At noon in the winter, in the warm sunshine, I put the agave in the courtyard to bask in the sun, only to meet the diligent people who moved the agave away.
I occasionally think of it on days without agave, and its strong spirit of survival always encourages me, and when I encounter difficulties, I learn agave, and I have to adapt to any difficult and difficult environment.
Thanks to that agave, it taught me to be strong!
