Congratulations to Halep for winning his 24th career title 🏆
Halep and Maya contributed a three-set battle, in which Halep defeated Maya 6-3 2-6 6-3 to win the cup in Toronto for the third time (2016 & 2018) to win the second title of the season and the 24th title of his career. This is the Romanian's ninth WTA 1000 title and the highest level of title since Rome in 2020. Halep, who reached the semi-finals and successfully returned to the top 10, won the championship and soared to 6th place!
