The special geographical location has made Xishuangbanna the forefront and main battlefield of the national anti-drug struggle.
In 1982, the first professional anti-drug team of New China was born in Yunnan. As the "sharp knife" in this knife-tip team, the anti-drug brigade of the Jinghong City Public Security Bureau in Xishuangbanna Prefecture guards this 6958 square kilometers of land, and the average annual seizure of drugs accounts for more than 50% of the state. For 40 years, this team has experienced the test of blood and fire, and generations of anti-drug police officers have walked on the tip of the knife and hidden in the tracks, and they are willing to dedicate, no complaints, no regrets.

Whenever Zhang Muye's left calf cramps, the thrilling scene of death passing by in the spring of 2020 will always flash in his mind.
Just after the Spring Festival in 2020, the anti-drug brigade received intelligence: according to reliable sources, a group of people tried to transport drugs from abroad to the Chinese border for trafficking. Zhang Muye gave up his vacation and took the initiative to ask Miao to lead the team to the border to reconnoiter the platoon, and he did not carry a weapon on him.
"Very suddenly, I met 2 drug dealers face to face and they asked me what I was here for." As the drug dealer asked questions, a pistol landed on Zhang Muye's chest. The appearance of a strange face at the agreed trading place of the drug dealers makes the vigilant drug dealers suspicious. The situation was urgent, and Zhang Muye could not tolerate any maneuvering, so he immediately snatched the gun from the other party's hand, and the two wrestled together. It was obviously foolish to tangle with China's anti-drug police, and another drug dealer shot Zhang Muye at close range in the leg, and then the drug dealer dragged his accomplice to flee off the border on the other side of the boundary river.
Hearing the sound of gunfire, Zhang Muye's comrades-in-arms rushed from the surrounding area, and the pain in his heart at this moment made him a little dizzy. Comrades-in-arms carried Zhang Muye through the subtropical alpine dense forests, "Hurry up, hurry up again!" "There is only one thought in everyone's mind.
"When the gun hit my chest, my heart flashed a little fear," Zhang Muye admitted, "but the anti-drug battlefield has always been full of dangers and dangers, and my comrades and I will never back down." "This is the narcotics police, one of the most risky forms of police in peacetime.
"Sleeping" police uniforms
In the anti-drug brigade of the Jinghong City Public Security Bureau, police uniforms are not consumables. "How new it was when it was issued, it was still so new after a few years." Zhang Muye said that the uniforms of the anti-drug police officers were quietly "sleeping" in the closet.
More often, not only can they not wear police uniforms, but they also have to hide their names and go undercover in the depths of drug cartels.
In the autumn of 2019, Zhang Muye got an important clue that a drug cartel was going to sell a batch of drugs worth more than one million yuan, and after analysis and judgment, the leader of the anti-drug brigade asked him to continue to follow up. After gaining the trust of the middleman, the boss behind the scenes offered to meet zhang Muye alone, which was the key to deciding whether the two sides would trade drugs.
"The big drug dealers are very cautious, these people have anti-reconnaissance capabilities, and when they feel that they don't have a 'tail', they take me to the real meeting place." Zhang Muye recalled the scene at that time, the big drug dealers repeatedly changed the trading location, and finally after several rounds of tug-of-war, they determined to trade along the border of a certain place.
Although it is autumn, the subtropical city is still hot. The sparkling boundary river reflects the warm sunlight on the border, the twilight gradually arrives, the sky changes from red to purple to a deep blue, as if dyed with paint, if it is not at such a special moment, a special place, it is quite "poetic, the years are quiet".
The anti-drug brigade's anti-narcotics police have disappeared into the dense forests of the lofty mountains for more than 10 hours, and they are motionless, accompanied by mosquitoes singing and unknown insect bites, and their consciousness has always remained awake.
When the arrest signal was issued, the group of anti-drug policemen seemed to emerge from the ground and arrested the drug dealers who were trading on the spot, and a total of 260 packages of 280 kilograms of methamphetamine were seized at the scene. So far, this extraordinarily large transnational armed drug trafficking case has been successfully solved, and it is also the largest case of trafficking in methamphetamine crystals cracked by the Jinghong Municipal Public Security Bureau so far.
"Anti-narcotics police have a 'dual personality,' which is our protective color." From 1982 to 2022, in the past 40 years, the anti-drug brigade of the Jinghong Municipal Public Security Bureau has cracked nearly 3,000 cases of various drugs, arrested more than 4,000 criminal suspects, seized nearly 14 tons of drugs and nearly 220 tons of drug-making articles, and the amount of drug paid ranked first in 129 counties and cities in Yunnan Province. Back on February 23, 2012, Ke Zhanjun, deputy captain of the intelligence research brigade of the anti-narcotics detachment of the Xishuangban Prefecture Public Security Bureau, learned that an extraordinarily large armed drug trafficking case was being organized to collect the net, and he had just returned from a mission abroad and took the initiative to ask Miao to join the fight to arrest drug dealers.
At 6 p.m. on the same day, the arrest team met a drug dealer in a small area of Jinghong City, and in the face of the gunmen, Ke Zhanjun, who rushed to the front, was not afraid of danger, and rushed to fight with him to the death, quickly controlling a drug dealer. At this moment, another drug dealer suddenly jumped out and shot him in the lower right chest. Ke Zhanjun, who fell to the ground, still did not give up, holding the drug dealer's leg with both hands, and finally fell into a pool of blood because of his serious injuries. Two drug dealers climbed down the window and fled separately, and a drug dealer who was injured by the pursuing police fled to the street with a gun, and after trying to grab the motorcycle unsuccessfully, he shot at a small car and was decisively killed by the pursuing police.
At 19:55, after all-out rescue was ineffective, Ke Zhanjun sacrificed his young life. He was only 30 years old.
In the early hours of November 4, 2016, many people were sleeping soundly when the anti-narcotics brigade of the Jinghong City Public Security Bureau discovered that a drug dealer in the transnational armed drug trafficking case they were investigating was trying to infiltrate the territory to conduct drug trade. The case involved guns and drugs, the danger was extremely high, and the local jungle was dense and there were many trails, and the superior arranged for the experienced Li Jingzhong to serve as the deputy commander of the arrest operation, and he was the deputy commander of the anti-drug brigade at that time.
At noon that day, when the drug dealer was about to complete the transaction and was about to leave with a gun, Li Jingzhong and his comrades-in-arms, who were ambushed around, acted decisively.
"Capture!" Li Jingzhong gave instructions through the walkie-talkie, and then the first one pounced on the drug dealer. During the arrest, Li Jingzhong was shot by another drug dealer hiding in the vicinity, hitting the aorta of the neck and shattering the cervical spine. After being shot in the neck, Li Jingzhong still lunged forward 3 meters, pounced on the back door of the car, and reached out to grab the drug dealer. At this time, the frenzied drug dealer fired a second shot, hitting Li Jingzhong's right hand.

The hero falls to the ground. Li Jingzhong used his body to block the drug dealer's view and bullets for his comrades behind him, and then the drug dealer who shot him was captured on the spot.
At 13:20 on the same day, Li Jingzhong died heroically due to ineffective rescue.
