Born in 2010, Guo Jiahui began to be exposed to table tennis at the age of 5 and now attends Xili Primary School in Nanshan District. Guo Jiahui said: "Every day I use my spare time to train, at least three or four hours. It's a sport I love, and it doesn't feel hard to train a little longer. ”
At the same time, her straight-tapping style is quite rare and becomes her advantage in the game. In this competition, she successfully advanced to the quarterfinals, was selected for the national junior team, and will undergo more rigorous training.
Born in 2013, Dai Jiahang studied at Xili Primary School in Nanshan District, and began to contact table tennis from kindergarten, and received strong support from his parents. Before the selection match, Dai Jiahang rested for two months due to a fractured left leg, and only resumed training in July, and wore knee pads on the field when playing. However, the Nanshan youngster gritted his teeth and insisted, played better and better, and got a place in the national junior team. Lin Jingen, table tennis coach of Xili Primary School, said that Dai Jiahang's ability and willpower are excellent, and the future development prospects are good.
Zhang Jingxi, 9 years old this year, was born in a table tennis family, and his grandmother and father are the coaches of the Shenzhen table tennis team. Under the guidance of his grandmother, father and head coach Ren Feng, he has improved rapidly in the past two years and has continued to grow in the game. Before the round of sixteen in this competition, Zhang Jingxi played very smoothly. By the quarter-finals, he was 3-0 behind and on the verge of being eliminated. But Zhang Jingxi adjusted quickly, showing a "big heart" and the momentum of not fearing strong enemies, and finally played four consecutive innings and staged a "big reversal".
It is expected that the three Nanshan table tennis players who have been selected for the national junior team will continue to train hard and continue to work hard and achieve good results in future competitions and life.
