Rose leaf bee, also known as yellow-bellied insects, feeds on the leaves with larvae, eats a large amount of leaf flesh, and is very fast, in severe cases, it can eat all the leaf flesh, leaving only the leaf veins and petioles. It is seriously harmful to the moon season, rose and other rosaceae plants.
Rose leaf peaks are extremely common in the northern region, especially if not controlled in time, it may cause the consequences of eating up the leaves of the rose in the moon season.
The insect occurs in 2 generations in 1 year in the north, and the larvae overwinter in the soil cocoon. Pupate in April of the following year, adults feather in May and June, adults feather during the day, mostly at 8-12 o'clock: adults can lay eggs shortly after feathering, and the eggs are laid in the young tissue of the plant in an "eight" pattern, and each young shoot can lay 10-30 eggs. The eggs hatch after 6-12 days, and the larvae begin feeding 50 min to 3 h after hatching, feeding the leaves into absent or only petioles. There is a strong sociality before the age of 3 years, and the harm of feeding is dispersed after the age of 3 years. The larvae inhabit the leaf margin or leaf surface, and when they roost, the pectoral foot climbs the leaf margin and the abdomen is upturned. After the larva matures, it falls on the ground and cocoons the pupae. The depth of human soil is 0.3-3.2 cm. Larval infestation can be seen in the north from June to September, and mature larvae enter the soil and overwinter in October.
Methods for controlling rose leaf wasps:
