Canada: 150th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China
On June 1, 2017, to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, Canada Post issued a set of 10 commemorative stamps in the shape of maple leaves. In 1867, the British merged the provinces of Canada, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia into a single commonwealth, becoming the earliest Dominion of the United Kingdom. Since then, other provinces have joined the Federation. In 1926, Britain recognized Canada's "equal status" and Granted Diplomatic Independence. In 1931, Canada became a member of the Commonwealth, and its parliament was given legislative powers on an equal footing with the British Parliament, but still had no constitutional power. In 1982, the Queen of the United Kingdom signed the Canadian Constitution Act, and the Canadian Parliament was given full powers to make and amend the Constitution. On April 17, 1982, the Canadian Parliament passed a new constitution, and the British Parliament passed the repeal of the old constitution, and Canada renamed Dominion Day on July 1 to Canada Day, and Canada was de facto independent from the United Kingdom.

Russia: Russian Ecological Year 2017
On June 5, 2017, the Russian Post issued a commemorative stamp with the theme of the Year of the Russian Ecology 2017. In order to make the whole society pay attention to ecological development, biodiversity protection, and ecological security, President Putin ordered the Russian Ecological Year to be held in 2017.
Poland: 2017 Polish World Games
On 9 June 2017, Poland Post issued a commemorative stamp for the 2017 World Games. The 2017 World Games will be held in July in Wroclaw, Poland. The World Games are held every four years, and the competitions are mostly non-Olympic sports. In 1981, with the support of the International Olympic Committee, the International World Games Association (IWGA) was responsible for organizing the World Games. The event is also held every four years, and the year is the second year of the Olympic year. The World Games cover more than 25 sports, including billiards, with the participation of about 4,500 athletes and officials from more than 100 countries and regions. Wroclaw is the largest city in western Poland.
Poland: World Expo 2017 in Astana
On 16 June 2017, Polszpost issued a commemorative stamp for the 2017 World Expo in Astana. On June 10, 2017, the 2017 Professional World Expo "Energy of the Future" opened in Astana, Kazakhstan. Heads of State and Government of 20 countries, including Russia, China, Serbia, the Czech Republic, Mongolia, Armenia, Belarus, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, including the King of Spain, attended the opening ceremony. The exhibition will close on September 10, the first time the Expo has been held in a Central Asian country, with more than 100 countries and international organizations participating in the exhibition.
Netherlands: Food
On 19 June 2017, Dutch Post, in collaboration with the Netherlands Centre for Intangible Cultural Heritage, launched a set of 10 stamps for Dutch Gastronomy. These delicacies include Bossche bol (a chocolate puff), Limburgse vlaai (a type of tart), Goudse stroopwafel (a caramel waffle), Zeeuwse bolus (a spiral pastry), Groningse eierbal (an egg salad ball), Amsterdamse ui (a pickled onion), Drents kniepertie ( Thin crispy waffles) and Fries suikerbrood (sweet bread), etc.
Australia: Succulent plants
On 20 June 2017, Australia Post issued a set of four Succulent Stamps. Succulent plants are rainwater conservators in the desert, referring to a class of plants with thick and succulent succulent stems, leaves and roots, and well-developed thin-walled tissues for water storage. The epidermis is rich in keratinous, waxy, secondary hairs or spines, and the epidermis has few pores and often closes to reduce water transpiration. There are about 10,000 species of fleshy plants in the world, all of which belong to higher plants. There are about 400 species of succulent plants distributed in Australia, and the four stamps issued this time feature portulaca cyclophylla, Tecticornia verrucosa, calandrinia creethae and four-petaled pontines (gunniopsis quadrifida).
United States: Total solar eclipse
On June 20, 2017, the U.S. Postal Service issued a Total Solar Eclipse stamp. On August 21, 2017, the United States will host the most extensive total solar eclipse in nearly 40 years, which will cover North America. The event is also known as the "American Super Total Solar Eclipse." Not wanting to miss this opportunity to "make a fortune," the U.S. Postal Service issued the total solar eclipse stamp, which was designed based on a 2006 photograph of the total solar eclipse taken in Jaru, Libya, and printed using thermal ink printing technology. If you touch the surface of the stamp with your finger, the total solar eclipse pattern on the stamp will become a full moon pattern. When the surface temperature of the stamp cools, it will return to the total solar eclipse picture. Both images used in this set of stamps were taken by Arizona astrophysicist Fred Espenac. This set of stamps is a set of 16 stamps and is not sold separately.
United Kingdom: Windmill Mill and Watermill Mill
On 20 June 2017, the UK Post issued a set of 6 Windmills and Watermill stamps, some of which are over 400 years old and many of which are still available today. In Europe, the first windmills appeared around the 12th century AD, and by the 19th century, the use of windmills reached its heyday, when there were more than 10,000 windmills in the Netherlands alone, and windmills were widely used in the countryside of island countries such as Britain and Greece. But with the advent of the steam engine, these windmills and watermills gradually withdrew.
South Africa: Contemporary architecture
On 20 April 2017, South African Post issued a five-stamp short stamp of Contemporary Architecture in South Africa, showing five of South Africa's most famous contemporary buildings: the Constitutional Court in Johannesburg, the Mapeng Gubwe Exhibition Centre in Limpopo, freedom park in Pretoria, the Mpumalanga Provincial Parliament in Nelspruit, and the Sid Library in Alexandra, Johannesburg.
South Africa: Hummingbird eaters
On 18 May 2017, South African Post issued a set of 5 hummingbird commemorative stamps. Hummingbirds belong to the family Hummingbirds and live mainly in Africa, India, Australia, Europe and the South Pacific Islands. Its body is slender, its mouth is long and curved; it eats not only bees but also other insects. The five species of hummingbirds on the five stamps are: the small hummingbird, the southern carmine hummingbird, the swallow-tailed hummingbird, the European hummingbird and the white-fronted hummingbird.
