Many viewers do not know that the "Gangzi" who "called" in social media is actually played by a real person.
The actor who plays Gangzi is called Hao Han, who is just 30 years old this year. After "Lone Moon", "Hao Han" became a "good man".

Let's raise a kangaroo, where to buy it?
Around the Spring Festival in 2020, Hao Han received the script of "Alone on the Moon" sent by director Zhang Yayu.
After reading the script one night, Hao Han sent a WeChat message to Zhang Eat fish and said: "Thank you brother! I must act well! ”
Zhang Yuyu replied: "Don't thank me first, you don't know what to act?" ”
"Is it a kangaroo?"

Hao Han did not know that Zhang Yuyu originally wanted to cut off all the scenes of the kangaroo, because the characters that existed in the original book would create a huge obstacle to filming.
It is difficult to control with real kangaroos, and it is difficult to convey accurate emotions entirely with animation.
If you want to keep this kangaroo, there is only one way, presented in the form of live-action and motion capture.
In the script, the kangaroo "Gangzi" is set as a tall, grumpy red kangaroo, who was left on the moon with the male protagonist Du Guyue played by Shen Teng, and finally returned to the earth safely.

This is not the first time Hao Han has appeared in the movie, his first "electrocution" was in the movie "Warm Hugs", playing a security captain.

Hao Han, who was crying and laughing, had to explain to his mother that kangaroos could not be domesticated, and could only go to the zoo to see.
So Hao Han quit the house and really moved to the side of the Beijing Wildlife Park, renting a cabin so that he could go to the zoo to observe kangaroos.
Zoo tickets are not cheap, in order to see more for a while, at first Hao Han went early, and soon he found that kangaroos are not very active during the day, but in the evening when the zoo is about to close, they are more active, and even fight, and the breeders have headaches.
"Eating, sleeping, fighting, basically the norm for kangaroos." Hao Han changed from the initial ordinary observation to observation with tasks, such as sitting posture, jumping, facial expression, eating state, fighting scenes, etc., and he also organized these into experiences and communicated with Zhang Eating Fish.
"The kangaroos raised in the zoo are not as large as set in the script, and because they have been artificially raised for a long time, they have gradually lost some of their original natural behavior. The director still hopes that in addition to playing against people, he will retain the natural state of some wild kangaroos, which will increase the realism of kangaroos. ”
Hao Han found almost all the documentaries and videos about kangaroos on the market, but compared with some other animals, the number of documentaries about kangaroos is very small. "This may be because kangaroos, despite their peculiar appearance, are numerous, have no predators, are everywhere in zoos, and are not mysterious."
There is a passage in the movie where Lone Moon drives a lunar rover with "Gangzi", and the two sit side by side in the cab. The crew used to be confused, will the kangaroo sit on the ground? Isn't it more reasonable to lie on the car?
But once in the zoo, Hao Han found a kangaroo sitting alone under a big tree, tail forward, eyes sluggish, he quickly photographed it and sent it to Zhang to eat fish.

After observing, Hao Han began to imitate, from squinting eyes, to hand postures, to tickling appearances from real kangaroos. He began to do physical and flexible training, wearing 50 pounds of equipment every day, kangaroo jumping. He was becoming more and more like a kangaroo.

Around 2015, Hao Han almost gave up acting, at that time, he had just graduated from the Qingdao Film Academy, and his original plan was to stay in school, but two failures in the examination made him have to rethink his life.

The following year, he bought a one-day round-trip train ticket and took the exam for the Happy Twist Comedy Training Class from Qingdao to Beijing.
