In 2011, the China Writers Association established a visiting researcher system. This is an important measure for the China Writers Association to cultivate outstanding young critics and build a team of young critics.

The visiting researcher system is intended to strengthen the integration and commonality between academic talents and literary scenes in colleges and universities, so that more young scholars with academic training in the discipline of modern and contemporary Chinese literature can join the ranks of contemporary literary criticism research, so as to further build a good criticism ecology and promote the prosperity and development of literary criticism and literary undertakings. In addition, strengthening the collection research and academic research of the Museum of Modern Chinese Literature is also an important aspect of the visiting researcher system.

Since the establishment of the visiting researcher system, it has been highly valued by the China Writers Association. The main leaders of the China Writers Association not only attended the appointment ceremony of each visiting researcher, but also issued a letter of appointment to each young critic. Over the past ten years, a total of 88 young scholars and critics have been appointed as visiting researchers in 9 sessions. Many of them have grown into outstanding talents in the discipline of modern and contemporary Chinese literature, and have become the main force in the current scene of literary criticism, they are at the forefront of Contemporary Chinese thought and literary creation, and have written many articles with thought, sense of reality and practical character, which has effectively promoted the prosperity and development of the cause of literary criticism.

On August 12, 2022, the Museum of Modern Chinese Literature held the 10th Visiting Researcher Appointment Ceremony. Let us review the academic memories of the 1st-9th visiting researchers, relive their youth stories and academic journeys, and listen to their sincere messages to the new generation of friends.

China Writers Network: You are a visiting researcher of the Museum of Modern Chinese Literature, do you remember your feelings when you accepted the appointment?

On May 19, 2011, Li Yunlei, Zhang Li, Fang Wei, Yang Qingxiang, Zhou Limin, Liang Hong, and Huo Junming were appointed as the first visiting researchers of the Museum of Modern Chinese Literature. Zhou Limin (fifth from right) at the scene.

Zhou Limin (Executive Deputy Director of Ba Jin's Former Residence): I am the first. The Museum of Modern Literature is a place I've known for a long time, and I feel very happy and kind to be hired as a visiting researcher.

Guo Bingru (Professor, Department of Chinese, Sun Yat-sen University): I am the second visiting researcher of the Museum of Modern Literature. On the one hand, when accepting the appointment, I am very happy, and I feel that I have the opportunity to walk with the academic community and have more exchanges with the previous teachers; On the other hand, there is also some trepidation, worried that I will not be able to complete the study tasks during the guest visit.

Li Zhen (Professor, College of Letters, Jilin University): I am the third visiting researcher of the Museum of Literature, and I was very excited and longing when I was hired.

Ma Bing (Professor, School of Liberal Arts, Shandong University): I was a guest in the fourth session in 2015. Of course, the mood of accepting the appointment is very exciting, first, the Museum of Modern Literature is a sacred place in the hearts of those engaged in the study of modern and contemporary literature; First, because many of the first three visiting researchers were familiar teachers and friends, all of whom were very active and powerful critics, and I could become one of them myself, which was a great encouragement for me.

Yang Hui (Professor, College of Literature, Shaanxi Normal University): I am the fifth visiting researcher of the Museum of Modern Chinese Literature. I still remember the complicated feelings when I received the letter of appointment from Teacher Li Jingze at that time--I was deeply honored, but also not afraid. At that time, I had only been turning from literary theory and Taoist research to literary criticism for more than a year, and I was still in the stage of exploration, and many research work had not yet begun, and I was not sure whether I could do a good job in literary criticism. Fortunately, stress also translates into motivation. For the next five or six years, I have been in the literary scene, and I have worked hard to expand my horizons, and I have also constantly explored the many possibilities of critical essay writing, which should be said to be caused by "pressure". At the same time, I also hope that through my own continuous attempts, I can see what kind of state I can write.

On October 22, 2012, Huang Ping, Jin Li, Liu Tao, Li Danmeng, Fu Qiang, Zhang Lijun, Zeng Yiguo, He Tongbin, Guo Bingru, Liu Daxian, Liu Zhirong, and Zhang Liqun were appointed as visiting researchers of the Second Session of the Museum of Modern Chinese Literature. Guo Bingru (fourth from right) at the scene.

Wang Shiqiang (Researcher, Institute of Literature, Tianjin Academy of Social Sciences): I was a visiting researcher of the 6th session and was hired in May 2017. At that time, the mood was excited and joyful, which stemmed from the influence and credibility of the "visiting researcher" brand of the Modern Literature Museum, a generation of young critics have made their voices heard with unique talents, learning and knowledge, and have become a new force in contemporary literary criticism, receiving more and more attention, and they can accompany the last seat to become a member of the visiting researcher group, which is naturally inspired and inspired. There's also pressure, and more importantly, motivation, feeling the need to take your criticism more seriously, try to do it better, and learn from better peers. Whether it is done or not, at least there is this consciousness, "the heart yearns for it."

Li Yin (Professor, School of Humanities, Hainan University): I am the seventh visiting researcher, and of course I was very excited when I accepted the appointment, and Chairman Tie Ning and Secretary Qian Xiaoqian issued us a letter of appointment. The first review article I wrote when I was young was about the Tie Ning novel, and at that time this article was praised by my mentor, Mr. Liu Siqian, which encouraged me to continue my academic studies. But this was the first time I met Mr. Tie Ning himself, so the entrance ceremony had a different meaning for me.

Chen Peihao (Professor, College of Literature, Fujian Normal University): I am a visiting researcher of the eighth session, I held an appointment ceremony on June 3, 2019, and reported to the Literature Museum on June 2, 2019, and I ate, chatted, and drank with my friends of the seventh session that night. It is said to be a tradition of guest seating for many years. On June 3, Chairman Tie Ning and Secretary Qian Xiaoqian both came to attend and give certificates to everyone, the specifications were very high, everyone was very happy, but the expression should be stable.

Lu Yang (Assistant Professor, Department of Chinese, Peking University): I am the 9th Visiting Researcher of the Museum of Modern Chinese Literature. When I accepted the appointment in the fall of 2020, the mood was more than excitement and nervousness, but also a sense of anticipation that the self was open to a new way of practice. For me, who had just officially entered the university and become a young teacher and researcher at that time, what was more impressive was the encouragement and support of a benign literary system and academic ecology for young people.

China Writers Network: What work and research did you do during your employment period, and how did this guest experience affect your academic career?

Zhou Limin: On the one hand, he continues to do research and data collation work on modern writers; On the other hand, the group of visiting researchers pays attention to the latest creations of the moment. I like the atmosphere of discussing problems with several other researchers and teachers such as Li Jingze, Wu Yiqin, Li Er, etc., and the collision of ideas with everyone can open people's minds and let individual research have a broader vision, rather than drawing a tight limit. I remember that once everyone discussed in the Literature Museum at night, and at the end of it was more than ten o'clock, and the empty hall of the Literature Museum was dark, and we were full of enthusiasm and refused to give up the discussion, as if to light a lamp for the dark night. Such spirited scenes are becoming less and less and more memorable, and often encourage me not to stop my enthusiastic exploration.

Guo Bingru: During my appointment, I mainly focused on a national project under research at that time, discussing the relationship between contemporary Chinese novels and narrative traditions. During the visit, the Literature Museum basically organizes an exchange seminar every month, and although the discussions around the theme are not always positively related to my topic, the dialogue and collision of ideas between colleagues often bring me new perspectives. The project was successfully concluded in 2014, and some of the contents of the book manuscript were published in the form of papers, which also received some recognition from the academic community, which of course had a lot to do with the guest experience.

Li Zhen: I participated in the regular meetings of the whole year with the same guests, and completed a series of review articles around these seminars. This allowed my academic interest and research to shift more to contemporary literary criticism.

On March 14, 2014, Cong Zhichen, Xu Gang, Chen Si, Rao Xiang, Wang Min, Zhang Xiaoqin, Jin Henan, Xiong Hui, Xia Lie, Li Zhen, Wang Qingfei and Zhang Dinghao were appointed as visiting researchers of the Third Museum of Modern Chinese Literature. Li Zhen (back row, fifth from left) is at the scene.

Ma Bing: The work during the employment period is mainly carried out in two directions: First, the historical and classic research of young people's writing, including the case criticism of post-70s and post-80s writers, and there are also some holistic thinking and observations. The second is the reflection on the relationship between Narrative resources such as China's local "Zhiyi" and storytelling traditions and contemporary literature. During the guest period, I exchanged a lot with my peers in the same session and before and after, and at the same time, it was more convenient to ask for benefits from the seniors in the academic circles, and there were many opportunities to dialogue and collide with writers and friends, and there were more meetings to participate in. These exchanges inspired me a lot, and even directly provided some critical ideas. The few years since I came to the throne have been the fastest growing period of my personal career in literary criticism.

Yang Hui: During the appointment period, in addition to actively participating in the academic seminars organized by the Museum of Literature, I also wrote more than 20 reviews and research articles, not only involving specific literary phenomena and writers' works, but also some theoretical self-expansion, such as the issue of contemporary literary historical materials, the continuation and transformation of classical traditions, the stylistic issues of literary criticism, and so on. His research in the following years is basically the deepening and expansion of the issues that concerned this year. Therefore, the experience of a visiting researcher is arguably the most important node in my academic career—both as an important node in my transition from literary study to contemporary literary criticism, and for me to open up the field of fundamental issues in the years that followed. Of course, it almost determined the direction of my literary criticism—both trying to continue the "tradition" and paying close attention to important contemporary and realistic propositions.

Wang Shiqiang: During the appointment period, the Literature Museum organized several seminars on literary topics, and I felt very beneficial and gained a lot. Because I usually do poetry criticism, the scope of attention is relatively narrow, the guest is very impressed by the participation in several discussions of novels and science fiction literature a year, it is indeed brainstorming, and it has been a lot of impact. At that time, he also accepted the task of the annual poetry inventory assigned by the Literature Museum, concentrated on reading a large number of works of the year, and sorted out the important events of the annual poetry, and the article was later received in the "Yearbook of Contemporary Chinese Literature" edited by the Literature Museum. I think the impact of the experience of the visiting researcher on personal scholarship is not direct but indirect, but the stimulation and promotion of the "field" on people, and the subtle impact of communication and exchange with teachers and contemporaries, which is long-term and profound.

Li Yin: My work and research areas are mainly divided into two parts, one is the teaching and research of modern literature, and the other is current literary criticism. There was no major shift in my main work and research areas during my visit, but this experience (which I feel cannot be counted as a year's time) was a very important boost to my academic growth. Before I was a guest, my research focused on modern literature, my understanding of the current state of literature was relatively limited, and I did little literary criticism. But the guest training greatly changed the distribution of my academic interests and stimulated my desire to criticize. Our guest activities and academic conferences this year may be more numerous, and the core of the topics discussed each time is aimed at new issues in "the current world and literature", the topics are very holistic and forward-looking, and literary criticism that is not at all in everyone's impression usually does not have academic and intellectual content. Personally, the growing interest in and critical interest in contemporary literature has activated my thinking and changed some of my academic paths.

Chen Peihao: Objectively speaking, our guest house has been affected by the epidemic, and some activities have not been carried out as planned. However, in some of the activities organized by the Museum of Literature, our friends in the same class have formed a deep friendship, and they have become very good friends with each other, and there are also many academic cooperation. If the guest experience has had an impact on my academic career, there may be several: First, it has increased academic self-confidence; The second is to make friends with academic peers, improve each other, and academic ideas are more active; Third, it has also gained more external recognition. Indeed, many people told me that they began to pay attention to my articles after they knew that I was hired as a visiting researcher at the Museum of Literature.

Lu Yang: During the two years in the museum, on the one hand, I continued to seek to promote the literary and artistic research in the Liberated Areas that I have been engaged in in recent years, and on the other hand, I also carried out new research from the perspective of "migration and mobility in wartime China", and tried to shift the focus of research to the literary and artistic system and literary experience of the 1950s. In a series of seminars held by the Museum of Literature, I have benefited a lot from the experiences and discoveries of these studies that have been sincerely discussed and further developed in a more interactive critical field. Especially in the special situation of having to reduce the flow in the past two years, the Literature Museum still strives to create a more open and fluid ideological space for us, which gives me the opportunity to feel the impact and nourishment brought by the contemporary literary scene outside the pile of old papers, and in the collision and stimulation of ideas, avoiding the dilemma of "learning alone and having no friends".

On April 15, 2015, Huang Dehai, Xiang Jing, Zhou Mingquan, Ji Yaya, Ma Bing, Wang Pengcheng, Fang Yan, Yang Xiaofan, Wang Xun and Ai Xiang were appointed as visiting researchers of the Fourth Session of the Museum of Modern Chinese Literature. Horse soldier (first from right) at the scene.

China Writers Network: How do you view the system of visiting researchers at the Museum of Modern Chinese Literature as a literary system?

Zhou Limin: I think this is an institutional innovation for the Museum of Modern Chinese Literature to expand its business and functions. Research should be an extremely important part of a literary museum, and it is the courage of a modern literary museum to be able to absorb the strength of the whole country and organize effective research.

Guo Bingru: The visiting researcher system of the Museum of Modern Literature has a special role in promoting the growth of young scholars. I think that for young scholars who love academia and take academia as their career, what they lack may not be a specific knowledge reserve, but some kind of opportunity to break the stereotypes or thinking inertia, and the visiting researcher system provides such an opportunity. I still remember that during my visit, the seminars organized by the Museum of Literature included both macroscopic research on literary history and literary phenomena, as well as analysis and discussion of contemporary writers' works. Because I have been doing literary history research, I always feel powerless when participating in critical topics, but such a topic design also made me realize that I need to adjust my reading direction appropriately and pay attention to the current literary creation. A contemporary literary researcher can only expand the depth of his research by making literary criticism and literary history study echo each other. In addition, the visiting researcher system provides a platform and opportunity for young scholars to speak out, which is also crucial for them to build confidence in their academic path. My first collection of papers was published with the patronage of the Visiting Fellows System, which is a special honor for me.

Li Zhen: I would like to talk about the harvest of the year. The third class of 12 visiting researchers from different places, with different knowledge structures and educational backgrounds, opened up a very broad vision for us, and this intimate relationship made it easier for us to understand what others were thinking, how they were thinking, doing, and doing it. For young people, it is undoubtedly a process of re-education, from which we can understand a variety of different ways of thinking, a variety of perspectives, a variety of sources of knowledge and theory, in this process, others are much more important than ourselves. So I would like to thank the Museum of Modern Chinese Literature for providing us with such a rare opportunity.

Ma Bing: The visiting researcher system has established a "criticism community", although everyone may have known or even been familiar with each other before, but it is still scattered in a state of scattered soldiers, and the "visiting researcher" system brings everyone together, and gives some relatively cutting-edge and hot criticism topics for discussion and discussion, and constantly invites writers to participate, promoting mutual assistance between criticism and creation.

Yang Hui: The system of visiting researchers of the Museum of Modern Chinese Literature cannot be overestimated in the great significance of contemporary literature, especially literary criticism, in contemporary literature from the second decade of the new century to the present. It not only provides an important platform for young critics to interact with each other and sharpen each other, but also produces or even creates new important literary issues, which affect the process and basic aspects of contemporary literary criticism in multiple senses. As I said in my departure speech, "The one-year experience of a visiting researcher has made it possible for me and my excellent 'contemporaries' to intervene in the scene of literary history that is taking place on the broadest platform, and through mutual discussion and mutual improvement, I can deeply understand the true meaning of a meaningful literary life and a fascinating state of criticism." This kind of criticism involves personal joys and sorrows, rises and falls, related to the long literary and spiritual traditions, and most fundamentally, it also involves the complex and diverse world of life in which we live. We may not be able to make history, but our efforts may also be part of the narrative of future history." It is conceivable that after many years, when future literary historians review the literary situation of this era, they will inevitably repeatedly discuss the important topic of the visiting researcher system of the Museum of Modern Chinese Literature, which cannot be bypassed.

On April 10, 2016, Han Songgang, Li Denan, Liu Bo, Liu Yongchun, Tang Hancun, Yan Shuisheng, Yan Jiexiong, Ye Zi, Yang Hui, Zhang Conghao, Zhang Pingjin, and Zhang Tao were appointed as visiting researchers of the 5th Museum of Modern Chinese Literature. Yang Hui (front row, first from right) is on the scene.

Wang Shiqiang: The visiting researcher system has discovered and trained a large number of young literary critics, which, in small terms, have the role of promoting, supporting and rewarding every individual, and in general, it is discovering and cultivating the future of literary criticism, and to a certain extent, it affects and changes the ecology of literature and literary criticism, which is undoubtedly of great significance.

Li Yin: I personally believe that the visiting researcher system is very important for the prosperity of literature. In my opinion, the selection of visiting researchers pays great attention to the balance of different systems (writers' associations, universities, etc.) and research fields (modern, contemporary, poetry, novels, etc.), so that young critics gather together as a very good opportunity for exchange, learning from each other's strengths and complementing each other's strengths, mutual communication, and everyone's intellectual collision and stimulation. Promoting and enhancing literary criticism is a necessary condition for the health and prosperity of literary ecology, and the effect of guest as a literary system for the cultivation of critical talents will be very long-term.

Chen Peihao: The visiting researcher system of the Museum of Modern Literature has objectively created a team of contemporary young critics, which is jokingly called the "national team" of Chinese literary criticism. It is not difficult to find that although the visiting researcher of the Museum of Modern Literature is named "researcher", it is not the same as the researcher who is generally engaged in the creation of knowledge in the academy, and it emphasizes the academic intervention of the contemporary literary scene. The system of promoting the generation of contemporary literary criticism and research forces by an academic institution with national influence is quite creative.

Lu Yang: The occurrence and development of contemporary literature is inseparable from the construction and renewal of the literary system. The establishment of the visiting researcher system of the Museum of Modern Chinese Literature provides a rare training mechanism and support system for young researchers in terms of research resources and academic platforms. As a vast literary museum and an important town for modern and contemporary literary research, the Museum of Modern Chinese Literature not only provides us with rich support for books and historical materials, but also continuously conveys the vitality and nutrients of contemporary literature to us, and creates a community of literature, criticism and scholarship for young researchers.

China Writers Network: What specific aspects of research are you currently working on, and what are the excitement and difficulties, please share with you.

Zhou Limin: At present, there are probably several aspects, one is the study of Ba Jin and his times, which I have been doing for many years. Second, two specific books about Bian Zhilin and Yan Lianke are being written. Third, from time to time, he will express his views on the current world and express his mood through some essays or book reviews. The biggest excitement is that on the basis of fully grasping the comprehensive literature and familiarizing yourself with the original text, looking back at the writers and works, there will be "discoveries" that are different from what you have known before and different from many common views, which is like exploring and encountering treasures, which is very exciting. Therefore, I also constantly warn myself that doing research must be able to constantly break my own inherent concepts, but also not to be influenced by the times, customs and even some "academic directions", settle down, and bury my head in my own things are the most important, even if it is not lively, but it makes people happy and satisfied.

On May 12, 2017, Xu Yong, Li Weichang, Jin Chunping, Li Dan, Wang Shiqiang and Bai Huiyuan were appointed as visiting researchers of the 6th China Museum of Modern Literature. Wang Shiqiang (fifth from right) at the scene.

Guo Bingru: I am currently conducting research around two national projects, one is the study of "revolutionary narratives" in contemporary Chinese literature, and the other is the compilation of the Department of Women's Literature, and I am responsible for the novel section from 1990 to 2020. After reading theoretical books for a period of time, I have a different understanding of "revolution" and "gender" at the discourse level than before. Of course, neither "revolutionary narrative" nor "women's literature" is a new topic in academic circles, and the current difficulty lies in how to break through the existing research framework and innovate. I think this is difficult to do without a new theoretical vision.

Li Zhen: At present, we are still tracking and criticizing contemporary literature, and if there is any special excitement or difficulty, I can't talk about it, but I feel that this has become a particularly comfortable life.

Ma Bing: Personally, I still want to continue to do research on the current transformation of local narrative traditions, break through the research framework of simply viewing note novels as a narrative means or narrative mode derived from traditional narrative means, pay more attention to the ideological orientation implied by writers' activation and mobilization of note novels and the significance of reflection on modernity in the contemporary context, especially since the new era, and examine the subliminal dialogue relationship between more intrinsic traditional narrative resources and modern stylistic concepts. I had done a little accumulation and preparation before, but I still found that my academic cultivation was still too weak, there were too many things to make up for the lessons, and too many materials to read.

Yang Hui: In recent years, my research has mainly focused on the continuation and transformation of the Classical Chinese Tradition, and it still involves theoretical issues such as specific literary phenomena and writers' works, as well as the transformation of research paradigms. Because the problem is large and complex, although it is centered on literary phenomena, it must be accompanied by social history, intellectual and cultural history. In the process of specific research, I often feel the limitations of my academic vision, the lack of theoretical reserves and the lack of research ability. It is precisely because of this that I can "grow" with the topic. The value and attractiveness of academic research to the self may lie in this.

Wang Shiqiang: In recent years, I have mainly done the work of contemporary poetry criticism, and if there are no accidents, I will take this as my main business in the future. Academic interest may have a certain transfer and expansion, but I think it should not be easy to "betray" this choice, if I leave later, it must not be due to personal disagreement, but due to some kind of "force majeure". It is a shame that with the passage of time, the individual research work has not felt much "excitement", on the contrary, the "difficulty" has become more and more. More and more fatigue, rout, and nihilism are coming, and there may be factors of "mid-life crisis", which may be more comprehensive and profound than "mid-life crisis", and I know that I need to fight and struggle with it. The environment of poetry criticism is not satisfactory, no one seems to be satisfied with it, and sometimes it does make people discouraged and retreat; But on the other hand, it is also part of the environment, and the problems of the environment do not necessarily include themselves, and it may be more constructive and meaningful to rein in itself. At present, I want to be able to slow down, "be myself", read more books I want to read, improve the knowledge structure, improve my ability and literacy, and then write the articles I want to write.

Li Yin: What I am most interested in at the moment is to carry out a series of writing that connects "literary history research" and "current critical practice". With the concerns of the times and the awareness of problems as the core, we should explore a variety of criticism methods and research methods, establish a totality between literature and history and experience, so that the study of literary history does not omit criticism, theoretical analysis and personalized aesthetic judgments. At the same time, literary criticism also has a qualified literary historical vision in terms of knowledge preparation, experience and vision. At the heart of all attempts is that discourse is also an important social practice, and social thought and emotion should be intervened by means of literary interpretation and critical practice. Of course, this is just my expectation of myself.

Chen Peihao: My personal research interests are relatively extensive, whether it is the criticism of the latest works or the study of literary history phenomena, I am interested and involved; Stylistically, novels, poems, essays, etc. are also involved. In recent years, the issue of more concentrated thinking is the contemporaryization of realism, and some articles have been written. In my opinion, realism is a relatively broad concept that is also generalized in concrete application. Therefore, clarifying the theoretical sources and different branches of realism, summarizing the latest development of realism in contemporary literature, and expanding and updating the theoretical concepts of contemporary realism are all related to the issue of contemporary realism. I'm willing to take a long time to figure this out.

On May 15, 2018, Huang Deng, Shen Xiayan, Mu Ye, Liu Jiangkai, Li Yin, Shen Xingpei, Li Guangyi, Liu Fangkun, Li Songrui and Zhang Guangxin were appointed as visiting researchers of the 7th Museum of Modern Chinese Literature. Li Yin (fifth from right) is at the scene.

Lu Yang: In recent years, I have been paying attention to the emotional politics of China in the 20th century, taking the study of literature and art in the Liberated Areas from the perspective of emotional politics as the starting point and radiating to the emotional forms and practices of contemporary China. From a theoretical point of view, this research can also be seen as a response to the "emotional turn" in the humanities and social sciences, but the main focus and excitement are still within the historical context of China's own complex emotional revolution and emotional political practice in the 20th century. For example, how to re-understand the modern transformation of rural China in the interactive relationship and tension structure of emotional politics and social reconstruction; How to connect the historical time and space of the "short 20th century" with the actual situation of contemporary China, and provide possible thinking paths for practical issues such as the interaction between the current literary and artistic life and public emotions, the emotional work in grass-roots social governance, and the resonance mechanism of public events and social emotions in the context of the "post-epidemic" context are all topics of concern to me. This research not only requires an interdisciplinary and cross-media perspective in terms of methodology, but also requires self-awareness and vigilance against the problems that may be brought about by the "emotional politics" perspective itself. In the face of contemporary China's emotional politics, we must not only sum up the experiences and enlightenments therein, but also face its practical dilemmas and historical consequences in a more historic way. At the same time, it is also necessary to avoid the tendency of "fragmentation" that may be brought about by the study of emotional history. To truly activate the political energy of emotion, literature and art need to cooperate with a series of linkage structures such as politics, economy, society and culture. Therefore, how to establish a holistic and structural research perspective is also the problem of this research.

China Writers Network: The 10th Visiting Researcher is about to be hired, what would you like to say to your upcoming colleagues?

Zhou Limin: I know that the lesson is useless, and I know even more that a flesh-and-blood young man has no patience to listen to clichés, so there is no need to contribute anything carefully, at most, I can say to them: go your own way and let others say it.

Guo Bingru: Do a good job of academic planning, and let this guest time become a booster for your academic career.

Li Zhen: Enjoy the year to the fullest.

Ma Bing: I wish all my colleagues a smooth new career, and the future period will become a very memorable time in personal academics and life, enjoy it!

Yang Hui: Diverse senses, continuous improvement. This is also my words that I often motivate myself to share with all my colleagues.

Wang Shiqiang: Congratulations! The appointment of visiting researchers is a new starting point, and I look forward to your grand plans in the field of literary criticism, as well as your high insights and insights. Employment is like a festival, joy and glory, but life after the festival is the normal life, more problems will arise, in this regard, "what victory can be said, standing up means everything". In today's era, taking literary criticism as a profession is bound to encounter difficulties or crises of one kind or another, but I am willing to persist, "hold on" and not give up! This is not a tragic choice, but it does require some pressure, but we should still believe that this work is meaningful and worth our intelligence and effort! Let's encourage you with all your colleagues.

Li Yin: Congratulations to them and learn from them.

Chen Peihao: Heartfelt congratulations to the new academic colleagues! The guest trip is more exciting than you might think. Start with a heart of curiosity, exploration and cooperation!

Lu Yang: I wish the new visiting researchers to enjoy the future time of study, speculation and discussion in the museum, and I also hope to learn from your colleagues, encourage each other on the road of contemporary Chinese literary criticism, jointly open up new perceptual forms and ideological paths, and create a community life full of literary vitality with the support of the Museum of Modern Chinese Literature.
