Behind-the-scenes production:

Lost co-directors Nate Fasson and Jim Rush wrote their plays, which won the 2012 Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay, and this film is their directorial debut and second screenwriting work. Knight Fasson and Jim Rush are both actors, especially the latter's impressive portrayal of Dean Pelton in the popular American drama Waste Wood Alliance, and he has also starred in American dramas such as Renault 911 in the 70s show Friends. After its successful premiere at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival, Fox Searchlight bought the film's North American and other regional distribution rights for nearly $10 million. The company also bought Sundance's hit Sunshine Little Beauty for tens of millions of dollars in 2006, and it grossed $60 million in North America. Both films were starred by Steve Carell.

Editor's Comments:

This kind of dysfunctional independent small fresh seems to be a kind of sub-genre film that can be mass-produced, only the film is fresh enough, the story is happy enough, and the actors are loving enough, it will definitely not be annoying. The perspective of the 14-year-old boy makes the story very small, fortunately, Nate Fasson and Jim Rush are good at tinkering with some irresistible quirky and cute characters, and the friends who have seen it can also leave your wonderful comments at the bottom, remember to share and like Oh.
