In the classical masterpiece "Romance of the Three Kingdoms", Lü Bu was originally recognized as the first fierce general of the Three Kingdoms, but due to the special care of Teacher Luo Guanzhong, the five tigers Guan Yu, Zhang Fei, Ma Chao, Zhao Yun, and Huang Zhong would gain more popularity than his generals through the aura of the protagonist. In fact, in addition to the Five Tiger Generals, there are also many fierce generals, such as Xu Chu, Pang De, Dianwei, Xiahou Huan of the State of Wei, sun Jian, Gan Ning, and Tai Shici of the State of Wu, all of whom are fierce men with explosive force.
Cao Cao had personally commented on some famous generals. For example, he once used "brave as a necklace" to describe "little bully" Sun Ce, and Lao Cao also called Ma Chao "not to reduce the courage of Lü Bu". Xiang Zhi is Xiang Yu, the king of Western Chu, and is also the protagonist of the rumored "Wang But Xiang". At that time, Xiang Yu, the king of Chu, was able to carry the ding, and he killed thousands of Han troops by himself, and he was a famous fierce general in ancient China. Cao Cao used Xiang Yu as an analogy to Sun Ce, which shows Sun Ce's fierceness. Lü Bu needless to say, macho who ranks first in the three kingdoms' force value, Ma Chao can match Lü Bu, which also shows that his force value is terrible.
The question is: Sun Ce is nicknamed Little Overlord, Ma Chao has Lü Bu's courage, and they do not have a direct dialogue, so which of these two is more powerful?
In line with the principle of reason and evidence, we can find the answer through the examples in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms.
There are two examples of battles that best reflect ma chao's strength value: first, Zhang Fei died before Ye Meng passed, and second, Weishui viciously fought Xu Chu.
When Liu Bei took Xichuan, Liu Zhang asked Zhang Lu for help, and the latter sent Ma Chao to support. At that time, Zhuge Liang knew that only Zhao Yun and Zhang Fei could fight with Ma Chao, but Zhao Yun was not in front of him, and later Kong Ming deliberately used the Radical General Method to provoke the Third Master to fight. Before Ye Meng passed, Ma Chao and Zhang Fei fought viciously for two hundred rounds, and the result was no difference between victory and defeat. Although their big battle ended in a draw, from the perspective of Zhuge Liang's radical general method, Zhang Fei was about slightly weaker than Ma Chao, otherwise Zhuge Liang would not have improved the third master's combat effectiveness by using the radical method.
In addition, Ma Chao also fought xu Chu in the Battle of Weishui. At that time, Ma Chao easily defeated the famous generals Yu Ban, Zhang Gao, and Li Tong, and also had a peak duel with Xu Chu. At that time, the two of them fought for nearly two hundred and seventy rounds, but they could not tell the difference between victory and defeat. Considering that Xu Chu took off his armor and slammed Ma Chao's bridge section, Ma Chao should have a slight upper hand. Because Xu Chu took off his armor to increase his speed, which was conducive to playing, but Xu Chu was still unable to take down Ma Chao, and the gap between the two sides had been shown.
There is only one example that best shows Sun Ce's bravery: the Shenting Ridge Evil Fighting Tai Shi Ci.
After Sun Jian's death, Sun Ce, who was originally attached to Yuan Shu, chose the path of independent entrepreneurship. At that time, Sun Ce pressed the jade seal to Yuan Shu, thus borrowing three thousand soldiers and horses to go to expand the territory. It was also during this period that Sun Ce had the opportunity to duel with Tai Shi Ci. The two sides engaged in a fair fight at Shenting Ridge, and the result was a hundred rounds of victory or defeat. At best, Tai Shi Ci could only draw with Zhang Liao, that is to say, Sun Ce supported Zhang Liao's level.
Through the previous analysis, we can clearly see that Ma Chao, Zhang Fei and Xu Chu are in a position, or even slightly stronger; Sun Ce at most Zhang Liao one level. Zhang Fei had fought with Lü Bu alone for a hundred rounds without winning or losing, so Ma Chao also had the qualification to go head-to-head with Lü Bu. However, Zhang Liao could only fight with Zhang Gao, and could not be compared with Zhang Fei at all, so Sun Ce was only at the level of Zhang Gao. In this way, Ma Chao is definitely stronger than Sun Ce, and the two sides are not in the same position.
