Atlas Copco has agreed to acquire the assets of Suzhou Synopsys Gas Systems Co., Ltd. (Synopsys), a China-based manufacturer of gas equipment. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2022. The acquired business will be part of the Compressor Technology business area Industrial Air Division. Suzhou Xinsi Gas System Co., Ltd. is a private enterprise headquartered in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, with operations throughout China. In 2021, the company's revenue is approximately RMB 70 million (SEK 93 million). The company has 80 employees. The company focuses on gas manufacturing equipment for a wide range of applications, including metals, petrochemicals, marine and electronics.

Supply chain services, infrastructure and innovation firm Agility has announced the completion of its acquisition of UK-based John Menzies PLC and will merge the business with its national Aviation Services (NAS) business to create a global aviation services leader in 58 countries. After the integration, the combined company will operate under the name Menzies Aviation and will become the world's largest aviation services company by number of countries served, and the second largest by the number of airports served. Extentia is a global technology and services company focused on enterprise mobility, cloud engineering, and user experience. Extentia will join Merkle, a leading technical support, data-driven customer experience management (CXM) company part of Dentsu Group's international business. Founded in 1998, Extentia employs nearly 800 people in Pune and Bangalore, India.

Fast Retailing's GU brand plans to open its first store in the United States in the fall of 2022, located in New York's Soho district. Founded in Japan in 2006, the GU brand is a sister brand of Uniqlo and today has about 450 stores, mainly in Asia. The store, which recently opened in the U.S., is the first outside of Asia and aims to further expand its business.
