Om Prakash, a 65-year-old man in India, was finally arrested by police this week after 30 years on the run.
Prakash grew up in the village of Narana in the northwestern Indian state of Haryana and worked as an army truck driver for 12 years.
In 1988, he was fired for four years of absence.
During those years, Prakash did illegal things.
In 1986, he stole a car.
Later, he stole a motorcycle, a sewing machine and a scooter in various places.
He was arrested by the police and later released on bail.
In January 1992, Prakash and his associates tried to rob a man traveling by bicycle.
Seeing the man fiercely resisting, Prakash and his accomplices stabbed with knives.
Nearby villagers heard a cry for help and gathered around.

The accomplices were caught on the spot and later sentenced to seven or eight years in prison.
In the first year of the escape,
Prakash took refuge in temples in the southern Indian states of Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh.
A year later, Prakash returned to northern India.
However, he did not return home to reunite with his wife and children.
Instead, he settled in the city of Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, about 180 kilometers from home, and found a job as a truck driver to start a new life.
Later, he also ran a local shop that sold and rented out movie recorders.
In 1997, Prakash married a local woman, Rajkumari, and had three children.
Since 2007, Prakash has also run dragon suits in local Hindi films, playing roles as village chiefs, bullies, and even police officers.
He starred in 28 films, one of which was called Takrav, which garnered 7.6 million views on YouTube.

Rajakumari, the wife, said she was unaware of her husband, Prakash's past criminal history.
But she did feel that her husband was hiding something.
Her husband, Prakash, had taken her to the village of Narana and introduced her to some friends.
And these so-called "friends" are actually Prakash's brothers and other relatives.
A few years later, when Prakash's first wife came to the door,
Rajakumali realized that her husband had also married and had children in another place.
"We feel betrayed."
Because Prakash worked as a truck driver, he often did not leave home.
At first, Rajakumali was not suspicious of this.
Later, she believes that her husband should have used his job as a truck driver as a cover to return to another family.
As a result, the relationship between Rajakumali and her husband Prakash began to deteriorate, and the two often quarreled.
In 2007, her husband, Prakash, disappeared again.
"I had enough and went to the local government office and wrote a written certificate promising that I no longer had anything to do with him.
But he came back seven years later and came home intermittently. ”
The daughter added,
"He called out our names, and whenever he came, out of pity, we would give him some food because he was our father."
In 2020, Haryana established a special working group focused on organized crime, drug enforcement, terrorism and cross-state cases.
Prakash was included in the list of "most wanted criminals" with a reward of 25,000 rupees (about 2,130 yuan) for clues.
And Prakash himself made a major mistake.
On his new identity document, he wrote the real names of himself and his father.
After 30 years on the run, Prakash was finally arrested by the police.

Prior to that, the police had only a photo of Prakash when he was 30 years old.
Prakash, now 65 years old, has changed his appearance.
When the police tracked him down and confirmed his identity, it also took a lot of effort.
Plakash is implicated in robbery and murder and will face legal sanctions next.
Wife Rajakumali said,
"The police said if we wanted to see him we had to submit my identity documents, but I didn't want to do that.
What else is there to see? ”
