The Red Genie is an atmospheric discharge phenomenon that accompanies thunderstorms, usually occurring at altitudes of about thirty to ninety kilometers above the ground at the top of thunderstorms. The red elf is red in the upper part and gradually turns blue at the bottom, and the width is about five to ten kilometers, which can last for about ten to one hundred milliseconds, and it is fleeting like lightning. Because these luminaries are red in color and appear in the air for less than a thirtieth of a second, making them as elusive as ghosts, scientists call them "red elves."
