United Kingdom: Full name "United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland". Abbreviated as "United Kingdom" or "Great Britain". Located on the British Isles in western Europe. It is made up of more than 5,500 small islands in and around the island of Great Britain, the northeastern part of the island of Ireland. 1. Woburn Safari Park
Located in the Woburn region of Bedfordshire, England, it was founded by the Duke of Bedford in the 13th century and later opened to the public in 1970. Visitors can drive through the park to see and even encounter a variety of wildlife, such as white rhinos, elephants, tigers and black bears. The safari is part of the Duke of Bedford's estate, which also includes Woburn Abbey and a three-thousand-acre deer park. Woburn Safaris is a member of the British and Irish Association of Zoos and Aquariums and the European Association of Zoos and Aquariums, which actively participate in various captive breeding projects around the world to protect endangered species.
