Number 10: The largest dinosaur fossil in Southeast Asia was found in Thailand. This dinosaur fossil has been dated 100 million years and belongs to a huge herbivorous animal. What's even more surprising is that the fossils weren't even discovered by science or any professional. It was a local in Chai yapong province who, while busy with their own business, found some unusual white lumps sticking out of the ground. These lumps turned out to be bones, a lot of bones. After local residents reported to the authorities, scientists were sent to investigate and found more than 20 pieces of debris. Bone fragments on the spine, pelvis and femur. These bones once formed the body of a Titan beast, a sad body. This can be a bit confusing, as one-tenth of the bestial dinosaur family is a branch of the giant-beaked sad dinosaur. Strictly speaking, it is not a T-Rex. It was a completely different dinosaur. Instead, the beast was more closely related to the Thunder Dragon, which was about the size of a blue whale. The new dinosaur found in Thailand is estimated to be between 74 and 98 feet long. This makes it one of the largest animals ever lived on Earth.
Ninth place the largest bone. Researchers on the mainland recently discovered one of the largest repositories of dinosaur bones in the world. It was found near Xuchang on the east coast of Shandong Province. Since excavations began, archaeologists have uncovered more than 7,600 dinosaur fossil samples. The fossils were found on an earthy slope about 900 feet (274 m) outside the city boundary. It's about 90 stories tall, basically the side of a huge hill from which dinosaur bones stick out. Most of them date back to the Cretaceous period, and arrow dinosaurs quickly became extinct. This is one of the most important places in the world to find dinosaurs. In 1964, oil explorers discovered a small batch of dinosaur bones, and these discoveries have not stopped since. The remains of the largest duck-billed dragon were found here 20 years ago. Named the Giant Shandong Dragon, it weighs 20 tons, about ten times the size of an elephant. With this latest discovery, paleontologists have discovered a variety of truly terrifying skeletal monsters, such as the skull of a giant ceratopsa, one of the largest flying dinosaurs ever created. They also found the bones of ankylosaurs, a dinosaur whose tail was a stick. Jiao Chijin of the Chinese Academy of Sciences said the whole area could be very fertile and densely vegetated. This allows their numbers to be restored and helps them maintain fossilized bones after death.
The eighth steroid komodo dragon, a fossil of a prehistoric lizard called a steroid by paleontologists, has just been discovered in Canada. In a mining area in southern Alberta, researchers have discovered a Komodo dragon-like beast from the ancient world. It is known as the Canglong and lived inland during the Cretaceous period, about 75 million years ago. Strictly speaking, it wasn't a dragon, nor was it like the reptiles we see today. Instead, it was a combination of all predators, a commandosaur that grew too big and then somehow gave birth to a dolphin. According to Donald Henderson of the Royal Tolar Paleontological Museum, mining operations in Alberta have provided a constant supply of fossils over the past few decades, with the most popular fossil found by miners being Mazarrone. In his archives, the museum has about 30 partially complete skeletons. These deadly creatures are about 24 feet long. Huge heads, sharp teeth and enough power to kill any other creature in the ocean. Can you imagine a lizard twice as big as a crocodile? But that's why these creatures are so fascinating. Strictly speaking, they cannot be called dinosaurs because they are the descendants of lizards that have lived on land for tens of millions of years. The lizard slowly adapted to the water. Their legs became flipper-like limbs. Extra joints grew in their skulls, transforming from giant land reptiles into lock-like beasts.
Seventh place Argentinosaurus. Argentinosaurus was the largest dinosaur in the world. It is the undisputed giant bone champion. Discovered in Argentina in 1987. It was a remarkable thing when it was discovered, and it absolutely shook the paleontological community. Since its discovery, experts have been trying to pinpoint exactly how big the dinosaur really was. Some reconstructions show that argentinosaurus was between 75 and 85 feet (23 to 26 m) tall. Length from the tip of the tail to the tip of the nose. The same reconstructed dinosaurs are about 75 tons. The boldest estimates suggest that the largest Argentinosaurus may have been 100 feet (30 meters) long and 100 tons long. If it's the latter, then the Argentinosaurus would be one of the largest creatures ever made. This is bigger than the blue whale because of its size. Dino is classified as a Titanosaurus. These creatures lived on every continent during the Cretaceous period, and they varied in shape and size, but they were all very similar, both were huge four-legged beasts with long necks. That's where things get really interesting. Argentinosaurus may have had a nemesis, a carnivore called the Megalopodaurus. Their skeletons were found in the same locations all over South America, and we know they lived at the same time and shared the same territory. Researchers believe that carnivorous dragons weighing more than 10 tons hunt Argentine dragons, just as swarms of wolves hunt elephants.
Sixth crocodile face. Scientists in Europe have just discovered a truly giant beast. Paleontologists have found the remains of perhaps the largest predator in European history on the Isle of Wight. His small island is located off the southern coast of England and is known for its abundance of fossil remains. The researchers nicknamed the new predator, The White Rock Spinosaurus, though tabloids called it a crocodile-faced dinosaur. According to British researchers who analyzed the fossils, this is the youngest spiny bone ever found in the UK. Spinosaurus was a carnivorous dinosaur that walked on two legs, but its skull was almost identical to that of a crocodile. Imagine the arms of a T-Rex, its thick neck and extremely powerful legs, and then the long beak of a crocodile. It was the top predator across Europe between 145 million and 66 million years ago. This new species is most closely related to the oldest spinosaurus. It can be ambiguous. It's certainly larger than the T-Rex, and it has a flat spine that sticks out from its back, probably an organ, which helps it swim. As for its size, we're talking about 33 feet. or longer. This makes it the largest predatory dinosaur ever found in Europe.
The fifth giant pterosaur. Paleontologists have finally discovered the largest pterosaur species ever found over South America. These creatures lived 86 million years ago as flying dinosaurs with wingspans the size of a school bus, like a hybrid of an eagle and a lizard. Each of its wings is equivalent to half a bus. That's what we call the strange flying lizard. It's so big that it's a miracle it can fly in the air. These specimens were discovered by scientists in Argentina, the skeletons of two huge new species, known as Tanatos de la Con-Amaru, or more simply, the Dragon of Death. This is part of the family of terror that ruled the entire Earth's skies between 146 million and 66 million years ago. These things only went extinct when an asteroid hit Earth, which means that if it weren't for that giant ball of space rock that hit Earth, they might still be there today. But what makes these creatures even more fascinating is that. It is thought that this pterosaur predates birds and was the first on Earth to have wings to prey on other animals from the air. As early as 20 million years before the Cretaceous mass extinction, these cold-blooded carnivores were the first to swoop down from the sky to kill their prey
The fourth Southern Titan dinosaur. A dinosaur was found in Australia, which was about two stories high and as long as a basketball court. It is now the largest dinosaur species ever found in Australia and can be compared to Argentine dinosaurs because, like its rivals and Argentina, no one can say for sure how big it was, around 80 to 100 feet. Hip heights are between 16 and 21 feet. It also weighed between 25 and 81 tons, like argentinosaurus, the largest dinosaur ever built. The problem is that we can't estimate its size. But it's still big. By comparison, the Tyrannosaurus rex was only 12 feet tall, and it wasn't even as tall as the dinosaur's legs. That's the difference between you and a medium-sized dog. It's known as the Antarctic Bear, and its first bones were excavated in 2006, but it took years of analysis until more than a decade later, when paleontologists at the Queensland Museum finally revealed what they had found from the museum, a huge undertaking to take bones out of the ground, prepare them for research, and compare them to other species of dinosaurs in the world, only then can it be said without a doubt that this is the largest animal ever recorded in the Australian outback
The third largest ichthyosaur. We've seen the biggest predator in Europe, and now it's time to look at another giant predator with hidden diseases. This is not a bipedal dinosaur. It does not have two legs and short, thick short arms. The sea dragon is 33 feet long and resembles a dolphin. It is called Ixotosaurus and it lived 18 million years ago and spread throughout the earth. This is by far the largest example of a predator found in the British ocean, with fossil bones in rocks found just a few feet off the coast of the Lateran Waters Nature Reserve. At first glance, it looks like a crocodile fossil, but in reality, it's far less scary. On the outside, it's almost exactly the same as a modern dolphin, only obviously much larger. Its fins are gone in the water, and it has a long nose that can be used to catch prey. The skull alone is more than 6 feet long.
The ancestor of the second Tyrannosaurus rex, a new giant carnivorous dinosaur, has just been discovered. This giant predator lived about 90 million years ago, and according to scientists, it bullied tyrannosaurs smaller than itself. Because even though Tyrannosaurus had a rather terrifying reputation, they were not as terrifying or ferocious as the Mesozoic Chinese dragons. They're basically babies. Before they grow into behemoths. We recognize them because they are small lizards that walk on two legs, hunted by the larger carnivore Caroton Tarragon. In a rock found in Isbekstan, a bone of Rodan Tyrann was found, and it was a large bone. Even if only one bone is found, it is only part of the upper jaw. Researchers from the University of Calgary and other institutions can piece together some basic facts. The creature is about 30 feet long. When the Tyrannosaurus rex evolved, it lived for a long time. This was the last known cacaroosaurus, and it was likely to become extinct over the next few million years as tyrannosaurs became larger. How did this happen? Scientists still can't be completely sure. Scientists called the specimen Ulubergosaurus, which was still at least a third larger than the largest tyrannosaurus rex of the time. This has led researchers to wonder whether the Tyrannosaurus rex became the king of dinosaurs, the super dragon, not because of its size, but because of its group mentality. Scientists agree that Argentinosaurus was the largest dinosaur ever made.
The first super dragon. Scientists say the dinosaur lived during the Jurassic period 150 million years ago, and it easily exceeded 128 feet. Long. About twice the length of a bowling alley. New research by paleontologist Brian Curtis of the Arizona Museum of Natural History even suggests that these superlongs could reach 137 feet long. This makes it much longer than any other competitor, second only to its Beam Dragon, which is only 100 feet long and 8 feet long. Long. Its hips aren't the tallest, nor are they the heaviest, but from the tip of the tail to the tip of the nose, it's definitely the longest. At least that's how things look. The new study has not yet gone through peer review, and technically, Diplodocus remains the longest dinosaur. The study was proposed after 50 years of studying a specimen discovered in 1972. Brian Curtis describes the original fossil as a bone salad. This stuff has to be put together like the most frustrating puzzle in the world. It wasn't until fifty years later that we had a definite idea of what kind of beast it was. Thanks for watching. What is your favorite giant dinosaur?
