With the launch of the QienTian experimental module, experimental research on the cultivation of higher plants under microgravity conditions will be carried out in orbit. "In order to support the development of scientific experiments in related fields, a number of scientific experiment cabinets of about 1 meter wide, 1.8 meters high and 0.8 meters deep have been deployed in the Wentian experimental cabin, including life ecology experiment cabinets, biotechnology experiment cabinets, variable gravity scientific experiment cabinets, scientific glove boxes and cryogenic storage cabinets." Lu Congmin introduced that the life ecology experiment cabinet will carry out spatial growth experiments on arabidopsis, fruit flies, zebrafish and other animals and plants, revealing the impact of microgravity on the growth, development and metabolism of individual organisms, and promoting human understanding of the nature of life phenomena.
