Celebrity Reviews:

Parker Team: 91-94 points

The 2021 Dragon Boat Estate Red Wines are eye-catching, blooming with sweetberry and plum aromas, intertwined with the aromas of cigar wrapping paper and fresh mint, the wine is medium to full, the taste is mellow and not blind, well-structured, rich in layers, the tannins are powdery texture, the acidity is lively, and the aftertaste is accompanied by saltiness. The wine has improved in all five of my tastings.

Anthony Galloni: 92-94 points

The 2021 Dragon Boat Estate red wine is rich and gorgeous, but it will not be deliberately built in this direction as some past vintages, and of course, that kind of plumpness is almost impossible in 2021. Even so, the 2021 vintage of Dragon Boat Estate Red wines shows aromas of blue fruits, purple fruits, aromas, espresso, mocha, mint and licorice, and the perfect balance of elements in the wine is a highly promising Dragon Boat wine.

Jeff River, Cellar Intelligence: 92-94

Originally flavoured with hints of blackcurrants, tobacco leaves, espresso, flowers, herbs and black cherries, this medium-bodied wine is sweet, supple and fresh, with pepper and spices at the finish, interwoven with a fresh hint of spearmint, adding vitality, sweetness and red fruit to this classicist wine. This wine is a blend of 57% Cabernet Sauvignon, 38% Merlot, 3% Petit Verdot and 2% Cabernet Franc, with an alcohol content of 13% abv and a pH of 3.7. Wine grapes are harvested from 25 September to 11 October and will produce 5,000 litres per hectare in 2021, with genuine wines accounting for 54% of the estate's total production.
