"Kandy Carnival" is a name that members of the Kardashian family may use in their lavish birthday parties.
Recently, according to foreign media reports, Singapore's billionaire heiress Kim Lynn may have been inspired by the famous Kardashian sisters in Hollywood to hold a lavish carnival-themed party with the same name to celebrate her 31st birthday. It was also a joint celebration of her son Kadon's 5th birthday.
Since her son's birthday was just a few days ago, it made it an easy decision to celebrate their grand day together.
Held at The Barracks Hotel on Sentosa Island, the floor-to-ceiling venue was transformed into a carnival tent featuring a 30-foot-tall, 1,000-kilogram castle, 3,000-foot curtains, 72 rainbow doors, 10,000 toys and balloons.
All of this is the fruit of the hard work of the workers over 10 days.
What a lucky couple.
Candy and Pokémon theme
The whole set-up could be a dream for some 5-year-olds – colorful balloons everywhere, a giant Pokemon-themed ball pit, and lots of lots of candy.
For the children who attend, as well as some of the adults present, there are doll-catching, ball pit and carnival games for entertainment.
Not sure why the child above was in that doll-grabbing machine, and how powerful the paws were to carry him, but he looked happy.
Impactful events
Many celebrities from across the island travel to Sentosa to celebrate with Kim and her son.
Among them are old friends and influencers Xia Xue, Naomi Neo, and even actress Zoe Tay.
Entertaining everyone is definitely going to cost a lot of money.
But hey, at least Kim Lynn's kids might remember this birthday, unlike Kardashian's one-year-old who wouldn't have any memories of such extravagant birthdays.
