As of January 15, 68 projects of high-quality Hunan pig industry cluster projects in Hunan Province have started construction, with an operating rate of 95.8%; 25 completed projects with a completion rate of 35.2%; 624 million yuan of investment has been completed, accounting for 52.5% of the total investment; local pig breeding has reached 803,000 heads, and 190,000 new local pig breeding, with the new breeding volume accounting for 23.7% of the total breeding volume; the new slaughtering and processing capacity is 116,100 tons, and the output value of the whole industrial chain of new local pigs is 2.752 billion yuan. Through the implementation of the high-quality Hunan pig industry cluster project, the industrial chain of feed, breeding, breeding, slaughtering, processing and sales has been improved, and the industrial development of high-quality local pig breeds in Hunan Province has been accelerated.
