The announcement came during Biden's first presidential visit to Israel. Biden and Israeli caretaker Prime Minister Yayer Rapid signed a security agreement in Israel on the 14th to strengthen their common front against Iran.

Biden's itinerary also includes a visit to Israel's Iron Light air defense system, which uses lasers to intercept drones and missiles.

He said the drones "will give them a regrettable response" if the enemy makes a mistake.
